The issue of April 5 will be the final edition of the Sentinel for letters before the April 18 Board of Education elections. All letters endorsing candidates must be received prior to noon Monday, April 3 for consideration in that week’s issue.

Letters from candidates themselves are not accepted unless they are directly disputing an inaccuracy in a previously published letter.

We will make every effort to run letters we receive; however, if necessary, priority will be given to the order in which they were received.

All letters to the editor should be typed or neatly printed and must include a daytime telephone number at which the writer may be reached for verification. There is a strict 250-word limit for all letters. Letters exceeding that length will be edited appropriately.

We reserve the right to edit all letters for style, spelling, punctuation, grammar and questionable content.
