slated at Monroe Library

Children’s craft programs will begin on Dec. 4 at the Monroe Township Library, 4 Municipal Plaza.

"Sleepy Bears," open to ages 6-8, is set for 4 p.m. on Dec. 4 or Dec. 6.

"String Art" for ages 9-12 will take place at 4 p.m. on Dec. 5.

Registration is not required. Interested individuals are asked to stop by the children’s desk for a number. The first 15 children to sign up will be accepted.

Council of Jewish Women

to discuss Kinder Transport

On Dec. 12, the National Council of Jewish Women, Middlesex County section, will be hosting its monthly meeting. Vera Nussenbaum will be speak on Kinder Transport.

Nussenbaum will talk about her personal experiences being one of 10,000 Jewish children sent from their homes and families in Eastern Europe to the British Isles during the Holocaust.
