Monroe Mother’s Club to hold community tree lighting

MONROE — The township Mother’s Club will hold its annual Community Tree Lighting at Especially for You Florist on Spotswood-Englishtown Road and Harrison Avenue at 6 p.m. Dec. 2.

Songs will be performed by Linda Newton and the Girl Scout troops of Monroe.

The Monroe High School band has also been invited to perform.

The evening will include refreshments and a visit from Santa Claus.

The ceremony will be dedicated to the memory of John Meyer for his contributions to the club.
