Baby-sitting, health programs set at library Baby-sitting, health The Spotswood Public Library, 548 Main St., will offer two upcoming youth programs. "Baby-sitting Basics," a three-session course designed to teach young people ages 11-15 the safest approach to child care, will be held from 2:15-4:15 p.m. on July 9, 10 and 11. Topics will include basic safety and discipline. A certificate will be presented to each participant at the end of the course. "Health and Safety Pictionary," open to youngsters ages 8-12, is set for 2:15-3 p.m. on July 17. Participants will draw pictures related to health and safety. Prizes will be awarded. The Middlesex County Health Department will conduct both programs. In-person and telephone registration is now going on. Space is limited. Admission is free. Vendors are sought for St. Thomas flea market Vendors are sought for the St. Thomas Rosary Society’s 12th annual "Giant Flea Market" set for 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 7 in St. Thomas the Apostle Church parking lot, Route 18 south, Old Bridge.
