      Literacy Volunteers sets training workshops

      Literacy Volunteers of Middlesex will hold upcoming tutor training workshops for Basic Literacy and English as a Second Language programs.

      Training will be offered from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, June 2-25, at the South Brunswick Public Library, Dayton Road, in the Monmouth Junction section of the township; and from 6:30-9 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, July 8-31, at the Old Bridge Public Library Main Branch, Route 516 and Cottrell Road.

      Prior teaching experience is not required. Upon course completion, tutors will be matched at mutually convenient libraries with adults who have requested help.
