St. Ambrose Carnival planned for June 17-21

The St. Ambrose School Carnival will be held from 6-11 p.m. June 17-19, 6 p.m. to midnight on June 20, and 5-11 p.m. on June 21 on the school grounds, Throckmorton Lane, off Route 9, Old Bridge.

The event will feature rides, games, food, live nightly entertainment and super and nightly 50/50s.

The Old Bridge Idol contest preliminary rounds are set for June 17-19.

The June 21 grand finale will feature celebrity judge Vini Lopez, a former member of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band.

A fireworks display is planned for 9 p.m. on June 20. Rain date is June 21. June 19 and 21 will be Bracelet Nights — participants will pay one price ($18) and ride all night. For more information, call (732) 679-5990, ext. 7.
