Bicycling duo to teach,
entertain youngsters

The Spokes Brothers cycling duo will entertain children ages 8 and up while teaching them about bicycle safety and maintenance in a program set for 10:30 a.m. on June 28 at the Monroe Township Library, 4 Municipal Plaza.

Topics will include how things work on a bike, how to fix a flat tire and how to keep a bike running smoothly.

Registration is now going on at the library youth services desk.

Monroe Library to host

tea tasting and lecture

The Monroe Township Library, 4 Municipal Plaza, will offer a program titled "A History of Victorian Tea With Tea Tasting" at 2 p.m. on July 2.

Guest presenter will be Judith Krall-Russo. There will be a lecture on the history of English tea, a tea tasting and a demonstration on how to brew the "perfect" pot of tea.

The program is free of charge, but space is limited.
