Resident voices opposition to gov.’s trip to Puerto Rico

Resident voices opposition to gov.’s trip to Puerto Rico

(Open letter to Gov. James McGreevey):

I am opposed to your union-funded trip by the International Longshoremen’s Association to Puerto Rico; however, I can see why, because a high-ranking Genovese family member, Angelo Prisco, was paroled under your administration and this does not surprise me or many others. I feel this is a conflict of interest. I have written to our National Legal and Policy Center to look into this matter, as you seem to want to please organized crime, which got you elected.

I, and many people in this state, have not forgotten your trip to Ireland, which the Democratic State Committee finally paid for. I don’t trust your alleged Ethics Committee because it is part of your administration and should not be.

We have not forgotten Joseph Santiago, the state police superintendent with a record, or your new attorney general, who also takes gifts.

      James W. Harris Sr.
