Monroe school proposal offers innovative solution

Passing the bond referendum means that our current high school becomes a new middle school. What a wonderful facility to have for a middle school — more space to accommodate the increasing number of students, better science facilities, more room for lunch periods and physical education. And the best part — no cost to taxpayer to convert the high school to a middle school.

The Board of Education and township officials have developed an innovative solution to our enrollment needs. The Dec. 9 bond referendum represents a tremendous opportunity to meet these needs, and I am strongly supporting it.

I urge everyone else in the community to get the facts, and I am certain that they, too, will come to the same conclusion. Vote yes on Dec. 9.
