Mr. Bruhn, 62, of South River died Oct. 24 at home. He was an elementary school teacher with the South River school system. Surviving are a brother, William Bruhn of East Brunswick; five sisters, Anna Fratto of East Brunswick, Doris Dodd of San Diego, Janet Palermo of Allentown, Pa., Elaine Szegeti of South River and Marilyn Wojciechowski of Lantana, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass is planned for 10 a.m. on Oct. 30 at Corpus Christi Church, South River. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

George J. Carroll

Mr. Carroll, 73, of East Brunswick died Oct. 20 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Dolores Costa Carroll; a son, George Carroll Jr. of Helmetta; a daughter, Rosemary Carroll Catzola of Jamesburg; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Monroe. Mr. Dulczewski, 81, of East Brunswick died Oct. 23 in Applegarth Nursing Home, Monroe. His wife, Margaret Julia Hoch Dulczewski, died in 1988. Miriam Welsh Hollfelder

Mrs. Hollfelder, 93, of South River died Oct. 24 at home. Her husband, Joseph Hollfelder, died in 1999. Surviving are a sister, Olive Bray of Moorestown; a sister-in-law, Claire Hollfelder; a niece, Patricia McGonigle Keys; a nephew, J. Oliver McGonigle; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. A Mass was offered at Corpus Christi Church, South River. Interment was in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville.

Nina Romananko Romanow

Mrs. Romanow, 82, died Oct. 23 at home. She was predeceased by a grandson. Surviving are her husband, Vladimir Romanow; four children, Larissa Ruotolo, Ana Alue, George Romanow and Vladimir Romanow, all of East Brunswick; five brothers and sisters, all in Russia; five grandchildren; and four grandchildren. Mr. Rupp, 67, of Milltown died Oct. 21 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was a self-employed gen­eral contractor. Surviving are two daugh­ters, Cindy Ford and Dawn Mostowski, and a son, Patrick Rupp, all of Piscataway; his former wife, Lynn Anne Rupp, also of Piscataway; and five grandchildren. Mr. Catanzaro, 47, of Milltown died Oct. 24 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Bea Christian Catanzaro; four children, Kelly Christian, Michael J. Catanzaro III and Casey Christian, all of Milltown, and Gerianne Catanzaro of Michigan; his par­ents, Nellie and Michael J. Catanzaro of Milltown; a brother, John of Milltown; two sisters, Debra Ann Wayne of North Brunswick and Cheryl Joann Bonham of Millstone; and several nieces and nephews. Catherine Muha Voss

Mrs. Voss, 80, of Atlantic City, formerly of East Brunswick, died Oct. 24 in Our Lady’s Residence, Pleasantville. Her hus­band, Arthur Voss, died in 1984. Surviving are a brother, George Muha Jr. of Union, and several nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment was in Fairmont Cemetery, Newark.

Andrew E. Petti Jr.

Mr. Petti, 38, of the Cliffwood Beach sec­tion of Aberdeen, formerly of Old Bridge, died Oct. 24 in Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. He was an irrigation systems in­staller at Central Jersey Irrigation, Englishtown. Surviving are his parents, Andrew and Virginia Orlando Petti Sr. of Matawan; two sisters, Cathy Fleming of Cliffwood Beach and Denise White of Helmetta; a brother, James Petti of the Colonia section of Woodbridge; and several nieces and nephews. Sophie J. Lawnick Christian

Mrs. Christian, 85, of East Brunswick, formerly of South River, died Oct. 25 at the home of her granddaughter. Prior to her re­tirement in 1985, she was employed for 20 years with M&M Sportswear, South River. Her husband, John L. Christian, died in 1994; a son, Robert A. Christian, died in 1965; and a granddaughter, Constance Taylor, died in 1963. Surviving are two sons, John Jr. of Succasunna and Eugene of Old Bridge; a daughter, Carole A. Taylor of East Brunswick; two brothers, Valentine Lawnik and Karl Lawnick, both of South River; a sister, Jenny of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchil­dren; one great-great-grandchild; and sev­eral nieces and nephews. Genevieve "Jean" O’Such Poplowski

Mrs. Poplowski, 89, of Sayreville died Oct. 22 at her son’s home in Somerville. Prior to her retirement in 1997, she was employed by the Sayreville Water Department for 20 years. Her husband, Joseph, died in 1965. Surviving are a son, Joseph of Somerville; a brother, Chester of Sayreville; a sister-in-law, Adele O’Such of Sayreville; and two granddaughters.
