Word goes out that education is a priority

We would like to thank all the voters in Monroe who came out in force to support and overwhelmingly pass the Dec. 9 Monroe Township school bond referendum. From one end of the township to the other, the voters let it be known loud and clear that educating the children of Monroe is a priority.

Special thanks and recognition also go to the many members of KIDS 1st who volunteered so many hours of their time and worked tirelessly to ensure that our children will have the educational facilities and opportunities they deserve and need in our ever-changing world.
