      Richard Kuklinski
      Obituaries Richard Kuklinski

      Mr. Kuklinski, 44, of East Brunswick died Dec. 17 at St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was an accounting manager at Thales Avionics, Edison. He was a communicant of St. Bartholomew’s Church, East Brunswick. He was predeceased by his mother, Rita Kohli Kuklinski in 1997. He is survived by his wife and son, Karen Kahse Kuklinski and Brian Kuklinski, both at home; and his mother-in-law. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Bartholomew’s Church, East Brunswick. Arrangements were made by Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Burial was at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.       Irene Baranowski Malinowski

      Mrs. Malinowski, 75, of South River died Dec. 21 at home. She was a librarian at the South River Public Library for 28 years, prior to retirement. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, South River, and a member of the church’s Altar Rosary Society. Mrs. Malinowski was predeceased by a daughter, Dianne Malinowski, in 1989. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Edward Malinowski; a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Susan Malinowski of Toms River; a daughter and son-in-law, Jacklyn and Tony Catalano of Hamilton, Va.; two brothers, Stanley Baranowski of Old Forge, Pa., and Ted Baranowski of Bristol, Conn.; and five grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, South River, followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick. Arrangements were by Brunswick Memorial Funeral Home, East Brunswick.

      Joseph R. Szostak

      Mr. Szostak, 48, of South River died Dec. 21 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was a member of Carpenters Local No. 1006, Milltown. He served with the U.S. Air Force. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Mr. Szostak is survived by his parents, Mary and Joseph J. Szostak Sr. of South River; a sister and brother-in-law, Joann and Thomas M. Sabo of Somerset; one niece; one nephew and several grandnieces and grandnephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Mary’s of Ostrabrama Church. Arrangements were by Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.

      John "Jack" Bogaczyk

      Mr. Bogaczyk, 88, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Dec. 16 at Haven Hospice at J.F.K. Medical Center, Edison. He was employed at Hercules Inc., Parlin, for 40 years, retiring 27 years ago. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, South Amboy, where he was a member of the Holy Name Society and served as an usher. Mr. Bogaczyk was predeceased by his brother, Frank J. Bogaczyk in 1986. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Claire Jaskowiak Bogaczyk; two sons and daughters-in-law, John M. and Jeanette Bogaczyk of Annapolis, Md., and James and Mary Ann Bogaczyk of Manahawkin; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Anton Juknierski of Monroe Township, and Mary Paulette and Richard Braisted of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a brother, Stanley Bogaczyk of East Brunswick; two sisters, Mary Scibek of Sayreville and Agnes Remer of Matawan; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Sacred Heart Church, followed by burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin. Arrangements were by Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin.       John Ploskon

      Mr. Ploskon, 89, of South River died Dec. 16 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Before his retirement, he was a heavy construction laborer with Local No. 472 Labors Union, where he was a member for 60 years. He was predeceased by four brothers, Victor, Stanley, Bernard and Edward Ploskon; and a sister, Rose Burak. Mr. Ploskon is survived by his wife of 66 years, Margaret Lengyel Ploskon; a daughter and son-in-law, Marge and Michael Holinko of Spotswood; a son, John V. Ploskon of Old Bridge; a sister, Anna Wojcik of South River; a brother, Henry Ploskon of Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Burial was at Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River. The Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River, was in charge of arrangements.

      Louise "Ronnie" Leeds Cannizzo

      Mrs. Cannizzo, 62, of Spotswood died Dec. 18 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Cannizzo is survived by a son, Richard Cannizzo III of Old Bridge; two daughters, Donna Cannizzo of Spotswood and Jodi Ventre of Old Bridge; a sister, Sally Ann Slutsky of Spring Valley, N.Y.; and two grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Marlboro Cemetery. Arrangements were by Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge.

      Frank A. Maluta

      Mr. Maluta, 88, of Old Bridge died Dec. 19 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. He was employed at Union Carbide before his retirement. He was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Old Bridge. Mr. Maluta was predeceased by three wives, Margaret Maluta, Irene Maluta and Ann Maluta. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Michael Kohler of Barnegat; four stepdaughters; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, followed by burial at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway. Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick, was in charge of arrangements.

      Verna Ellen Lokeman Watts

      Mrs. Watts, 49, of Old Bridge died Dec. 20 at J.F.K. Medical Center, Edison. She was predeceased by her father, Charles Lokeman. Mrs. Watts is survived by a son and daughter, Nicky Watts and Stacy Watts, both of Old Bridge; her mother, Eleanor Steinback Lokeman; a brother, Charles Lokeman of Arizona; a sister, Karla Murray of East Brunswick; and four grandchildren. Burial was at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. Arrangements were by Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.

      Mary R. Garboski Siewierski

      Mrs. Siewierski, 96, of South River died Dec. 8 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Prior to her retirement in 1972, she was employed as a seamstress at Rutgers Cloak, South River. Her husband, John "Red" Siewierski, died in 1988, and a daughter, Laverne Adamusik, died in 1989. Surviving are a daughter, Rita Beisser of East Brunswick; a son-in-law, John Adamusik of South River; three grandsons; and four great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment was in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Sayreville. Memorial contributions may be made to the East Brunswick Rescue Squad or to the South River Rescue Squad.

      Ruth Kulesa Haring

      Mrs. Haring, 56, of Monroe, formerly of Sayreville and South River, died Dec. 9 in the Elms Nursing Home, Cranbury. Prior to her retirement in 1997, she was an executive assistant for the Monroe Township Utility Authority, where she worked for 15 years. Surviving are her husband, Charles "Chuck" Haring; two daughters, Donna Haring of North Brunswick and Dawn Bladzinski of South River; her parents, Peter and Mary Paprota Kulesa of Sayreville; a brother, Richard Kulesa of South Brunswick; and a granddaughter. A Mass was offered at St. James Church, Jamesburg. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.       Charles H. Bradford

      Mr. Bradford, 78, of Milltown died Dec. 12 in the Reformed Church Home, Old Bridge. Prior to his retirement in 1982, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 35 years, the last 10 years as postmaster of the Milltown Post Office. He was a past president of the Milltown Chamber of Commerce. His wife, Grace Goodwin Bradford, died in 1993; a daughter, Linda Sue Vahle, died in 1997; and a granddaughter, Kristen Bradford, died in 1992. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara A. Gasper of Evesham and Judith G. Bartocci of Monroe; a son, Charles H. Bradford Jr. of Fort Wayne, Ind.; three sisters, Ruth Diblin of Jamesburg, Jane Clement of New Mexico and Alice Locke of Lavalette; two brothers, William Bradford of Florida and Fred Bradford of New Jersey; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services were held at Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick. Interment was in Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the Milltown Lions Club, P.O.       Millicent "Penny" Takach Grosse

      Mrs. Grosse, 62, of East Brunswick died Dec. 8 at home. Prior to her retirement in 1997, she was a teacher at St. Mary’s Elementary school, South River, for 10 years. She also was employed by the Old Bridge Township Board of Education as a teacher at Voorhees School. Surviving are a son, Adam Grosse of East Brunswick; her parents, Victor and Pearl Lanczki Takach of Franklin; and a sister, Ellen Sills of East Brunswick. Arrangements were under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick.

      Aileen K. Ruffley

      Mrs. Ruffley, 64, of Old Bridge died Dec. 14 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Prior to her retirement in 2001, she was an Old Bridge Township Council stenographer for 25 years. Surviving are her husband, Michael; a daughter, Patricia Bates of Silver Spring, Md.; a son, Edward Leib of Old Bridge; a stepdaughter, Patricia Norway of East Brunswick; her stepmother, Stella Kelly of Massachusetts; a sister, Maureen Condon of Northport, N.Y.; and several nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Township With A Heart, P.O.       Joseph V. Russell

      Mr. Russell, 97, of South Amboy died Dec. 12 at his daughter’s home in the Morgan section of Sayreville. Prior to his retirement in 1976, he was employed as a mechanical engineer at E.I. DuPont and Co., Parlin section of Sayreville, where he worked for 50 years. He was a founding member of the South Amboy First Aid Squad. His wife, Marie L. Rattigan Russell, died in 1999. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Russell of Morgan and Louise Russell of South Amboy; and two sisters, Anna Moore of Spotswood and Pearl Zupko of Massachusetts. A Mass was offered at St. Mary’s Church, South Amboy. Interment was in the church cemetery.

      George H. Toth

      Mr. Toth, 73, of South River died Dec. 9 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 1990, he was a research technician at E.I. DuPont, Parlin section of Sayreville, where he worked for many years. His wife, Dorothy Dudzinski Toth, died in 1985. Surviving are a daughter, Lisa Olinger of Northbridge, Mass.; a brother, Charles Toth of the Long Valley section of Washington Township; and a grandson. A Mass was offered at St. Stephen’s Church, South River. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson’s Foundation, 1501 N.W.       Frank Tremmer

      Mr. Tremmer, 69, of East Brunswick, formerly of South River, died Dec. 6 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement, he owned the Riverfront Bar and Rooming House, South River. Surviving are a daughter, Dawn Tremmer of Sayreville; a son, Tod Tremmer of Old Bridge; and several brothers and sisters in Hungary. Services were held at Kurzawa Funeral Home, Sayreville. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, South River, East Brunswick.

      Angela Pasek Radzawich

      Mrs. Radzawich, 80, of East Brunswick died Dec. 17 at St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Plymouth, Pa., she resided in Edison prior to moving to East Brunswick three years ago. She was a school van driver for Edison Township Board of Education, retiring in 1988. She was a communicant of St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, East Brunswick. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Louis Radzawich of East Brunswick; three daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and Lawrence Arnese of East Brunswick, Mary Lou and John Ellis of Knoxville, Tenn., and Cheryl and Anthony Krahl of North Brunswick; her brother, John Pasek of Whiting; her sister, Victoria Kenger of Englishtown; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, East Brunswick. Arrangements were by Brunswick Memorial Funeral Home, East Brunswick.       Vilma Dervaric

      Mrs. Dervaric, 88, of Milltown died Dec. 15 at St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was an assembler at New Brunswick Scientific, New Brunswick, before her retirement. Mrs. Dervaric is survived by her husband, Karlo Dervaric; a daughter, Marie Wiener of Milltown; and two granddaughters. Burial was at Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.

      Margaret Thompson

      Mrs. Thompson, 61, of Whiting died Dec. 16 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. She was employed at Seaman’s, Jamesburg, for 13 years, retiring in 2002. She was predeceased by a son, Lawrence J. Thompson. She is survived by two sons, Richard A. Thompson of Punta Gorda, Fla., and John J. Thompson of Old Bridge; two brothers, Joseph Letters of Clark and James Letters of Roselle; a sister, Catherine Virgillio of Virginia; and five grandchildren. Arrangements were by Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge.

      Antoinette DiGiandomenico

      Mrs. DiGiandomenico, 90, of Milltown died Dec. 17 at her son’s home in Bedminster. She was employed at Douglass College Library, New Brunswick, for 36 years, retiring in 1993. Mrs. DiGiandomenico was predeceased by her husband, Antonio DiGiandomenico, in 1965; and her 10 siblings. She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Vincent DiGiandomenico of Jacksonville, Fla.; Don and Jane DiGiandomenico of Bedminster, and Frank and Judi DiGiandomenico of Flemington; and six grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Milltown. Burial was at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.
