      Nominees sought for
      recreation/parks award

      The Township of East Brunswick is now accepting nominations for the 2004 Friends of Recreation and Parks Award.

      Created to recognize the efforts of individuals, organizations and corpo­rations who have assisted the town­ship’s recreation and parks programs, the award is presented annually as part of the July Is Recreation and Parks Month campaign.

      Individuals must be residents of East Brunswick and must have estab­lished a record of rendering outstand­ing services as a volunteer supportive of recreation and parks in the com­munity. Organizations or corporations must have benefited East Brunswick in their recreation and parks endeavors.

      Criteria and nomination forms may be picked up at the Division of Recreation, 350 Dunhams Corner Road, East Brunswick, and at the mayor’s office, Jean Walling Civic Center. Deadline for submission of nominations is April 1.
