Frances T. Dalidunas Jesuele
Mrs. Jesuele, 88, of Spotswood died April 22 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. She was predeceased by her first husband, Anthony Jesuele, and by her second husband, William Martin. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Kowalski of Spotswood, a brother, Albert Dalidunas of Jamesburg; a sister, Catherine Henry of Hillsborough; a brother-in-law Paul Stenftennagel; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Entombment was in Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee. Helen Naughton Kish Mrs. Kish, 92, of South River died April 17 at home. Prior to her retirement 30 years ago, she was employed as a machine operator at South River Metal Co., where she worked for 10 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Gaza Kish, by a daughter, Helen Froude, and by a son, Gregory Kish. Surviving are three sons, Kevin and Gary, both of Spotswood, and Donald of East Brunswick; five daughters, LaVern Mosco of New Brunswick, Maureen Smolinski of Sayreville, Lois Banko of East Brunswick, Marie Franchino of South River and Sharon Kish of Florida; 25 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Corpus Christi Church, South River. Interment was in Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River. Dorothy Schadt Breece Mrs. Breece, 97, of South River, formerly of the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick and Milltown, died April 22 in Care One, East Brunswick. Her husband, Luther, died in 1964. Surviving are two sons, John V. Breece Sr., of Milltown and Luther Breece of Mount Airy, N.C.; a daughter, Blanche Russo of East Windsor; two sisters, Blanche Scheerer of Mount Airy and Betty Bills of Belmar; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Services were held at Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick. Interment was in VanLiew Cemetery, North Brunswick. Edmund Ciszewski Mr. Ciszewski, 83, of South River died April 17 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 1982, he was employed as a chemical engineer with DuPont Photo Products Division, Parlin section of Sayreville. Surviving are his wife, Bernice "Babs" Genus Ciszewski; three sisters, Connie Pelczar of Maryland, and Beatrice Harvey and Louise DerZawiec, both of South Amboy; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Entombment was in Holy Cross Mausoleum, South Brunswick. Andrew J. Lapos Mr. Lapos, 53, of Cranbury, formerly of Old Bridge, died April 17 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. His mother, Tillie Bohensky Lapos, died in 2002. Surviving are his father, Andrew B. Lapos of Tamaqua, Pa.; three sisters, Donna Lapos of Jamesburg, Karen MacNeil of Coatesville, Pa., and Deborah Bishop of East Brunswick; and four nieces and one nephew. Elizabeth Krupa Micheli Mrs. Micheli, 85, died April 13 in Cranbury Care Center, Monroe. Surviving are her husband, Julius; two sons, John of Brick and Robert of Boonton; a brother, Thomas Krupa of Alabama; two sisters, Florence Jancek of North Carolina and Theresa Sapiro of Connecticut; and two grandchildren. John Tobiasz Mr. Tobiasz, 73, of South River died April 14 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement 12 years ago, he was employed as a safety instructor at Johnson and Johnson, North Brunswick, where he worked for 43 years. Surviving are a brother, Frank Tobias of South River; six nieces and nephews; and 13 great-nieces and great-nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church, New Brunswick. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick. Michael M. Reckage Mr. Reckage, 85, of South River died April 13 at home. Prior to his retirement in 1982, he was employed as a pipe fitter with National Lead Industries, Sayreville, where he worked for 40 years. He was a past president of the South River Emergency Squad. He was an emergency medical technician and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) instructor for 10 years with the American Heart Association and for four years at Middlesex County College, Edison. Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Holdakowski Reckage; three nephews, Michael Reckage, Bob Tobin and Edward Reckage; and two nieces, Christine Grella-Tobin and Carol Reckage. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Elmer Paul Ramsthaler Mr. Ramsthaler, 83, of Old Bridge died April 16 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Surviving are his wife, Helen Cochran Ramsthaler; a son, Steven Ramsthaler of California; two daughters, Madeline Fredricks of Monroe and Debbie Krupski of Phillipsburg; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was private. Virginia Lee Rankin Mrs. Rankin, 71, of East Brunswick, formerly of Old Bridge, died April 13 at home. Surviving are her husband, William Alexander Rankin; four sons, William Rankin of Vernon, Blane Rankin of Old Bridge, Bryan Rankin of Stranton City and Bruce Rankin of Surf City; a daughter, Laurie Lewis of Palm Bay, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Box 97167, Washington, DC 20090-7167. Tony Smykay Mr. Smykay, 88, of the Morgan section of Sayreville, formerly of South River, died April 12 at home. Prior to his retirement in 1974, he was employed by South River Sand Co., where he worked as a millwright and pipe fitter for more than 25 years. Surviving are his wife, Antonette Wieczorek Smykay; two daughters, Antonette "Toni" Rebak of Morgan and Jean Ann Fogel of Tequesta, Fla.; a sister, Mary Barcikowski of Pineville, N.C.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Interment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville. |
