      East Brunswick residents can learn life-saving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills at free classes set for 7-9 p.m. on May 18 and May 20 at the East Brunswick Rescue Squad, off Cranbury Road.

      Training will include adult CPR skills sanctioned by the American Heart Association (AHA). Early CPR greatly enhances survival rates of heart attack patients, according to the AHA.

      Classes are open to East Brunswick residents with proof of residency. Participants must be 15 years or older.

      Great Adventure tickets

      The Sayreville War Memorial High School Band Parents Association is offering Great Adventure tickets at discount prices.

      "Early Bird" theme park/safari tickets, good through June 30, are available for $30; daily theme park/safari tickets, $37 for adults, $29 for children; daily Hurricane Harbor passes, $27 for adults, $23 for children; theme park/safari or Hurricane Harbor season passes, $75 each; combo meal tickets, good at participating locations in the theme park or Hurricane Harbor, $8.75.

      Proceeds will benefit the marching unit.
