Frederic B. Reinitz Mr. Reinitz, 84, of Spotswood died Aug. 8 in Roosevelt Care Center, Edison. Prior to his retirement many years ago, he was a self-employed plumber. He served as chief of the Spotswood Fire Department in 1959. His wife, Veronica, died 1959; a son, William A. Philkill, died in 2003; and a great-grandson, Robert Frederick Reinitz, died in 2001. Surviving are a son, Robert F. Reinitz of Cromberg, Calif.; a daughter, Patricia Daley of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; a granddaughter and five grandsons; and two great-grandchildren. Services were under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the Spotswood Fire Department, 77 Summerhill Road, Spotswood, NJ 08884.Frank E. Pennington Mr. Pennington, 92, of Manalapan, formerly of Milltown, died Aug. 7 in Francis E. Parker Nursing Home, Piscataway. Prior to his retirement in 1981, he was civil defense director for Middlesex County for 14 years. He also was co-owner, with Harry Burgeson, of the F. Bright Merit Insurance Agency, New Brunswick, for 25 years. Surviving are his wife, Marie Ballou Pennington; three daughters, Jean Olsen and Pat Balachick, both of North Brunswick, and Diane Davis of Manalapan; two sons, Ross Pennington of Old Bridge and Rich Pennington of Hillsborough; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was offered at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Englishtown. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, IL 60607-9952.Ann Kulessa Zimbicki Mrs. Zimbicki, 76, of Monroe died July 28 in University Medical Center at Princeton. She and her husband, Anthony Zimbicki, owned A&A Zimbicki Fruit Farm, Monroe. Surviving are her husband, Anthony; a daughter, Kathleen Cook of Milltown; three sons, Joseph of East Brunswick, Anthony of Florida and Michael of Monroe; a sister, Jean Rizk of North Brunswick; a brother, Zigmund Kulessa of East Brunswick; and five grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Englishtown. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick.Frank J. Justich Mr. Justich, 80, of East Brunswick died Aug. 6 at home. Prior to his retirement in 1983 as a controller, he was employed for 36 years by E.R. Squibb and Sons, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Sheila Hurley Justich; two sons, Robert of Short Hills and Kenneth of Baldwin, Wis.; two daughters, Donna and Ann Justich, both of East Brunswick; a sister, Mary Petrsoric of New Hyde Park, N.Y.; and three grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew’s Church, East Brunswick. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.Frank T. Kriskowski Mr. Kriskowski, 91, of Sayreville died Aug. 5 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Prior to his retirement in 1978, he was employed as a rigger with Hercules Inc., Parlin section of Sayreville, where he worked for 41 years. His wife, Viola Mary Przybylko Kriskowski, died in 1991. Surviving are a son, Martin of Linden; two daughters, Ann Marie Bertolotti of Sayreville and Diane Infusion of East Brunswick; and four grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Sayreville. Interment was in the church cemetery.Solomon M. Ribowsky Mr. Ribowsky, 83, of Monroe died Aug. 10 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Edythe Atkins Ribowsky; three daughters, Bernice Schultz-Knobe and Tina Freedman, both of East Brunswick, and Meta Beth Ribowsky of New York City; a sister, Mollie Tartalsky of Delray Beach, Fla.; and five grandchildren. Services were held at Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Interment was in New Montefiore Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y. Palm Findon Mrs. Findon, 88, of Naperville, Ill., formerly of Milltown, died Aug. 11 in Manor Care Center Services, Naperville. She and her late husband, Fred J. Findon, formerly owned and operated Findon’s Restaurant and Tavern, Milltown. Her husband, Fred, died in 1963. Surviving are a daughter, the Rev. Dr. Carol R. Findon of Naperville; a son, Donald F. Findon of Billings, Mont.; a brother, Robert Palm of East Brunswick; a sister, Helen Emerick of North Brunswick; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services are planned for 11 a.m. on Aug. 19 at Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. His wife, Vivian D’Angelo Frascinella, died in 1999. Surviving are a son, Philip Frascinella of Jamesburg, and a grandson, Mark Philip Frascinella. Services are planned for 7 p.m. on Aug. 20 at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Entombment will be in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Woodbridge.Martin Halum Mr. Halum, 66, of East Brunswick died Aug. 11 at home. Surviving are his wife, Marietta Moraleda-Halum; a son, Martin Halum II of East Brunswick; a daughter, Marissa Halum, also of East Brunswick; three brothers, Dr. Gado Halum, Dr. Ramon Halum Sr. and Trason Halum; and two sisters, Alice Halum-Gajo and Dr. Elena Halum-Cuevas. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment was in the Philippines. Arrangements were under the direction of Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.Jennie Sawchuk Mrs. Sawchuk, 91, of Monroe, formerly of Freehold, died Aug. 14 at home. Her husband, Paul G. Sawchuk, died in 1988. Surviving are four nephews and a niece, Steve and Kenneth Selody, William and Walter Karluk, and Judy Jalovick. Services were held at Evangelical Baptist Church, Freehold Township. Interment was in Maplewood Cemetery, also Freehold Township. Box 307, South River, NJ 08882.Anthony Mosakowski Mr. Mosakowski, 85, of Chesapeake, Va., formerly of Sayreville, died Aug. 3 in Mary View Medical Center, Portsmouth, Va. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a chemical operator with Hercules Inc., Parlin section of Sayreville. Surviving are two brothers, Edward and Alfred of Ocala, Fla.; a sister, Theresa Banka of East Brunswick; and many nieces and nephews. Services were held at Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville. Interment was in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, also Sayreville.Alice M. Reese Vogel Mrs. Vogel, 76, of Sayreville died Aug. 17 at home. Prior to her retirement in 1994, she was a librarian at the Sayreville Public Library, where she worked for 35 years. Her husband, Robert "Red" Vogel, died in 1988. Surviving are three daughters, Kathleen Nowikow of South River, Patricia Wlodarczyk of Brick and Colleen Kelly Vogel of Sayreville; a son, Robert Vogel Sr. of Brick; a sister, Mary Craig of Pennsylvania; a brother, Frank Reese of Monroe; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass is planned for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 20 at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment will follow in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville.
