      Women entrepreneurs are invited to attend a free open house and marketing seminar, hosted by the Middlesex-Somerset Chapter of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO). The event will run from 6-8:30 p.m. on Sept. 20 at Merrimakers, Sunfield Avenue, Edison.

      Guest speaker Ellen Silverman will offer a presentation titled “Guerrilla Marketing.” The program will focus on planning low-cost, high-impact marketing.

      NJAWBO will offer the evening free of charge as part of its membership drive. The event will include networking opportunities and appetizers. The public is welcome.

      NJAWBO, incorporated in 1978, is the largest statewide women business owners organization in the United States. Its primary objective is to support and encourage business ownership by women. There are approximately 1,000 members in 13 chapters across New Jersey. NJAWBO addresses the needs of the 200,000 women business owners in the state.

      Business owners and members of the community are invited to attend the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce 12th annual Largest Networking Party. The event will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Sept. 14 on the rooftop of the Hyatt-Regency Hotel, off Route 18 in New Brunswick.

      The event will feature food samples from many Central Jersey restaurants, as well as live entertainment, prizes, giveaways and networking opportunities.
