S.R. senior club members grateful for use of space

Senior clubs in our neighboring towns have the luxury of having their own buildings for meetings and events.

The South River Senior Citizen Organization was at a disadvantage and had several other organizations offer rooms in the town for short periods of time so we could hold our meetings.

On July 1, 1999, our members held their fist meeting at the Philo Masonic Hall, 120 Old Bridge Turnpike, South River. We are grateful and appreciative for the use of the facilities for our meetings, events, picnics and parking. Without the generosity of the Philo Masons, we would have had to disband our organization.

We are hopeful that at some time in the future we will have our own permanent meeting quarters within the town.

      Again, thank you, Philo Masons.
