Health, wellness fair coming to South Amboy

Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge and Perth Amboy; and the Parish Nursing Program at Christ Church, South Amboy, will sponsor a health and wellness fair from 9 a.m. to noon on Oct. 16 at Christ Church, Main Street and Broadway.

Free flu shots and pneumonia vaccine will be offered. Individuals who would like to receive the pneumonia vaccine must be age 65 or older and must make an appointment by calling the Middlesex County Department of Health at (732) 745-3100, from 2-4 p.m., Mondays-Fridays. Participants should bring their Medicare cards.

The event also will include free health screenings and health education.
