Kulp deserves praise for service to community, party

A good leader inspires people to have confidence in them; a great leader inspires people to have confidence in themselves. These words speak volumes about the leadership of the former East Brunswick Republican chairman, Rod Kulp.

For many years, Rod Kulp led the East Brunswick Republican Party, not because there was something good in it for him, but because there was something great in it for the residents of East Brunswick.

When I was a new face on the political scene, Rod gave me the opportunity to run for Township Council, and serve my community. I am grateful I had the privilege to serve my town and make some wonderful things happen for the residents I served.

Rod always kept the interest of East Brunswick first.

Whenever there was an important issue requiring a decision, Rod would often tell me to use my best judgment and base my decision on that. Rod made my job interesting and enjoyable.

I want to take this opportunity to congratulate Rod Kulp on his recent recognition by the East Brunswick Republican Organization for his many years of service to his party, his community, and a job well-done.

      Thomas Clark
