E.B. holiday celebration scheduled for Dec. 5

East Brunswick’s eighth annual holiday celebration is set for 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 5 at the municipal complex gazebo, 1 Jean Walling Civic Center. Rain location will be the Senior Citizen Center, 3 Jean Walling Civic Center.

The East Brunswick Community Chorus will entertain with sounds of the season in a countdown to the tree and menorah lighting. Santa Claus will arrive with treats for youngsters.

The theme of this year’s event is “winter mittens” that have been decorated by the children of the community. The mittens will be hung on the walls of the municipal building.

Admission to the holiday celebration is free of charge; however, youngsters are asked to bring a new pair of mittens to be donated to area shelters.
