Arthur Schwartz will speak at temple

Best-selling cookbook author, food critic and radio host Arthur Schwartz will appear from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 30 at Temple B’nai Shalom, Fern and Old Stage roads, East Brunswick. The event is sponsored by the Temple B’nai Shalom Sisterhood and Men’s Club.

Schwartz will offer anecdotes on how food shaped his life and career. A question-and-answer session will follow. He will sign copies of his latest book, “Arthur Schwartz’s New York City Food,” which will be offered for sale during the event. “Naples at Table” and “Soup Suppers,” two of Schwartz’s prior best sellers, also will be available for purchase.
