      Business Briefs

      Virginia S. Bauer, chief executive officer and secretary of the New Jersey Commerce and Economic Growth Commission, will be the guest speaker at a Legislative Breakfast event planned for 8-10 a.m. on Feb. 15 at the Sheraton at Woodbridge Place, Route 1 south, Iselin section of Woodbridge. The business community is invited to attend.

      The chambers of commerce of East Brunswick, Woodbridge, Metuchen, Perth Amboy and Piscataway will sponsor the event.

      Cost is $30 for members, $50 for nonmembers. Sponsorships are available at $500 each; cost includes 10 tickets, a listing in the program and on the banner, an announcement at the breakfast and display of the company banner.

      The East Brunswick, Edison and Middlesex County chambers of commerce will sponsor a Multichamber Business After Business Networking Reception event from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Feb. 17 at the Sheraton Edison Hotel, 125 Raritan Center Parkway. All businesses are invited.

      Cost is $10 for members, in advance; $15 for members, at the door; $20 for nonmembers. Participants should bring business cards.
