      Robert F. Baldwin

      Mr. Baldwin, 79, of Monroe, formerly of Milltown and Lady Lake, Fla., died Jan. 26 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was predeceased by his wife, Grace Edwards Krause Baldwin. Surviving are two daughters, Susan Bowman of North Brunswick and Kathleen Toro of Boca Raton, Fla.; a brother, William Baldwin of Milltown; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held at Christ Episcopal Church, New Brunswick. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association of New Jersey, 1600 Route 22 East, Union, NJ 07083.

      George Jeffrey Pancza

      Mr. Pancza, 55, of Milltown, died Jan. 28 at home. Surviving are his parents, George and Olga Fabian Pancza of Milltown; a brother, Dr. Robert Pancza of Kinnelon; and a sister, Patrice Pancza of New York City. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Milltown. Memorial contributions may be made to the Milltown Rescue Squad, P.O.       Louis Bengivengo

      Mr. Bengivengo, 76, of Spotswood, died Jan. 29 in Bayshore Community Health Care Center, Holmdel. Surviving are his wife, Jean DeMasi Bengivengo; four daughters, Carol Bellisano of East Brunswick, Susan Pretz of Spotswood, Barbara Thatcher of Clifton and Rose Marie Gardner of Oakland; a sister, Mildred Bengivengo of Belleville; and eight grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew’s Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.       Eugene J. Pacetta

      Mr. Pacetta, 79, of Monroe, died Jan. 20 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Ann DeNapoli Pacetta; two sons, Joseph of Flushing, N.Y., and Frank of Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Carmelene Lanzano of East Brunswick; a sister, Marie DeMata of East Islip, N.Y.; and five grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew’s Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Padavan Residence, 40-15 159th St., Flushing, NY 11358, for the benefit of Mr. Pacetta’s son, Joseph.

      George A. Mendez Sr.

      Mr. Mendez, 85, of Mays Landing, formerly of East Brunswick, died Jan. 19. A former chairman of the East Brunswick Recreation Board, he was instrumental in establishing the first East Brunswick Senior Center and in developing the municipal pool. He served as chairman of the East Brunswick and Middlesex County Democratic party organizations. Surviving are his wife, Marie Doyle Mendez; three children, George Jr. of Mays Landing, Ralph of Simpsonville, S.C., and Virginia Brewster of Metuchen; two sisters, Margie Smizaski of Park Ridge and Ruth Cashin of California; two granddaughters; and more than 15 nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew’s Church, East Brunswick. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

      Cordia E. Foglia

      Mrs. Foglia, 90, of Monroe, died Jan. 28 in The Masonic Home, Burlington. She was predeceased by her husband, John R. Foglia. Surviving are a son, John R. of Dunnellon, Fla.; two brothers, Joseph Walker of Kentucky and Charles Walker of North Carolina; a sister, Dorothy Hipp of North Carolina; two grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. Services were held at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge. Interment was in Fero Memorial Gardens, Beverly Hills, Fla.

      Helen Pope “Friday” Lyons

      Mrs. Lyons, of East Brunswick, died Jan. 28 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Along with her late husband, Charles Lyons, who died in 1966, she owned and operated East Brunswick Plumbing Supply Co., East Brunswick, beginning in 1949. She continued to be active in the family business until very recently. Surviving are three sons, Wayne and Richard “Ricky,” both of East Brunswick, and Charles “Buzzy” Lyons of South River; a sister, Margaret Abbott of East Brunswick; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. John the Baptist Church, New Brunswick. Interment was in Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Mrs. Lyons’ name at St. Peter’s University Hospital.

      Marion R. Skwira

      Mrs. Skwira, 88, of the Melrose section of Sayreville, died Jan. 19 in Woodland Care Center, Plainfield. Prior to her retirement in 1978, she was employed as a film inspector with E.I. DuPont Photo Products, Parlin section of Sayreville, where she worked for 30 years. Her husband, Edward J. Skwira, died in 1980. Surviving are a daughter, Margaret Wagner of Parlin; a son, Edward J. Skwira Jr. of Rutland, Vt.; a sister, Margaret Gandy of Perth Amboy; a brother, Tony Gandy, also of Perth Amboy; and a grandson. Services were held at Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville. Interment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin.

      Margaret M. Walsh

      Mrs. Walsh, 95, of Monroe, formerly of Old Bridge and Hamilton, died Jan. 17 in Cranbury Center, Monroe. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. Cremation was private. Arrangements were under the direction of Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge.

      Virginia Lee Ogden Weaver

      Mrs. Weaver, 62, of Salem, Ore., formerly of South River, died Jan. 17 in Tierra Rose Care Center, Salem. Surviving are her husband, Charles Warren Weaver; a daughter, Kelly Weaver Daffee of Seattle; her mother, Vivian Kirk Ogden of East Brunswick; a sister, Patricia Ogden Cosgrove, also of East Brunswick; and a brother, the Rev. William Kirk Ogden of Florida. A memorial service was held at Foresquare Church, Salem. Local arrangements were under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan’s Purse, Tsunami Children, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.

      Irene Kenyo Burkshot

      Mrs. Burkshot, 94, of Sayreville, formerly of South River, died Jan. 30 in Madison Center, Old Bridge. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a machine operator with General Cigar, South Amboy, and worked as a seamstress through the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. Her husband, George Burkshot, died in 1967. Surviving are a son, Gary of Sayreville; and two grandchildren, Jamie Burkshot and Danielle Burkshot. Services were held at Messiah Lutheran Church, Parlin section of Sayreville. Interment was in Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River.

      Anastasia Gemza Shlanta

      Mrs. Shlanta, 95, of Sayreville, died Jan. 29 in Brier Wood Care Center, Sayreville. Her husband, Paul Shlanta, died in 1992, and a daughter, Mary Shlanta, died in 1963. Surviving are a son, Paul Shlanta Jr. of Middlesex; a sister, Dorothy Krzyzkowski of Sayreville; and a niece, Judith Kryzkowski of Sayreville. A Mass was offered at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Sayreville. Interment was in Lake Nelson Cemetery, Piscataway.

      Evelyn J. Weber

      Mrs. Weber, 75, of Old Bridge, died Jan. 28 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. She was a greeter and a Eucharistic minister at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Surviving are her husband, Kenneth, and several nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.

      Kathleen Hoyt Lukow

      Mrs. Lukow, 60, of East Brunswick, died Feb. 6 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. She retired as an administrative legal assistant for Rhodia Corp., South Brunswick. Surviving are her husband, Joel Lukow; a daughter, Kim Gormley of East Brunswick; her father, Carl Hoyt of Manahawkin; and a grandson. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick.
