      Organizations sought for Community Day

      The East Brunswick Division of Recreation and Community Services will sponsor the 16th annual East Brunswick Community Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 6 at Brunswick Square Mall, Route 18, East Brunswick.

      Community-based, nonprofit volunteer groups are invited to participate in the free event. Exhibitors will display materials, recruit members and distribute literature. Reserved exhibit space is free of charge.

      Very limited space remains. Space will be confirmed on a first-come basis.

      The event will feature an afternoon of continuous entertainment from noon to 3:30 p.m. on the mall stage in the J.C. Penney court. Scheduled performers include the East Brunswick High School (EBHS) Jazz Ensemble; the East Brunswick Rhythm step team and dance team, both representing EBHS; the Rhythm-in-Motion 4-H Cloggers; the King Lai Cultural Dance Theater; and the children’s dance troupes from the Indian Cultural Society and the India Association of the Garden State.
