The following are the results for the Tamarack Women’s Golf Association’s 18-hole group from the April 12 opening day of play — scramble format. Joan March and Carolyn Barz came in first with a 61, followed by the team of Claudia Homoki and Betty Long (62), the team of Meryl Abramowitz and Judi Weinberg with a 64, and the team of Young Sook Kim and Tres Wist with a 68. The following are the results for the April 19 outing — low gross/low net: In flight A, Chung Hee Lee won low gross and Betty Long had low net. In flight B, Muriel Feniello had low gross and Linda Weintraub had low net. Tres Wist had low putts. In flight C, Judi Weinberg had low gross and Tanya Tomano had low net. The following are the results of the Tamarack Women’s 18-Hole Group’s April 7 outing — Play with the Masters (pick a pro as partner), full handicap. Ruth Rosenberg (Tiger Woods) took first with a 29, followed by Marge Widder (Woods) with a 30, Gail Dimaio (Vijay Singh) with a 33 and Jean Ertle (Phil MIckelson) also with a 33. Gerry Hurley and Dimaio had fewest putts with 17. At the April 14 outing — kickers (no flights), choose own handicap to come as close to par as possible — Widder took first with a 36 (match of cards) over Joan Hoskins (36), Roseanne Marosy (36) and Ann Marie Broel (35). Dot Fitzgerald had fewest putts with 17. The following are the results of the Tamarack Women’s Nine-Hole Golf Association’s April 21 outing — specks (longest drive in fairway, first on green all one putts), no flights, no handicap. Marge Widder won first place with a 12, followed by Diane Del Masto (10), Ruth Rosenberg (9) and Abbey Lorber (8). Annabelle Donnamaria had fewest putts with 16. At the April 28 outing — stroke play minus putts (in flights), half handicap — Marge Widder won flight A with a 24, followed by Sandi Sulam (26), Dot Fitzgerald (28) and Dee Moles (30). Dot Peters won flight B with a 27, followed by Sally Deyette (28), Jean Ertle (29) and Joan Semen (30). Joyce Nicolaison won flight C with a 27, followed by Joy Goldstein (27), Doris Colgrove (28) and Sally Hindes (31). Gail Dimaio and Janet Hefelfinger had fewest putts with 15.
The following are the results of the Tamarack Women’s Golf Association 18-hole group’s May 3 outing — Throw Out, 100 percent handicap. In flight A‚ Carolyn Meyers won on a match card with a 57. Second was Lelia Nelson, and Chung Hee Lee came in third with a 58. Flight B’s winner was Claudia Homoki with a 47, second was Young Sook Kim with a 53, followed by Betty Long with a 58. Linda Weintraub had low putts. Flight C first place went to Joan March with a 55, then Carolyn Barscz with a 59, and third to Tonya Tomaino with a 65. At the May 10 outing — Long and Short of It — Chung Hee Lee won flight A on a match card with a 33, second was Lelia Nelson, and third to Carolyn Meyers with a 38.5. In flight B, first place went to Meryl Abramowitz with a 28, then Young-Sook Kim won second on a match card with a 30.5, and Linda Weintraub took third. Betty Long had low putts. In flight C, first went to Joan March with a 33, second to Perry Pernice with a 36, and third to Agnes Olsson with 38. Carolyn Barscz had low putts.
