As usual, Richie Toth led a stingy defense, keeping the ball away from the net the entire game. Russell Clayton and Tyler Utheim shared the goalie duties once again, only letting up one goal. They both played great games on offense when not in goal. The win brings the Monroe Phoenix record to 2-0 for the regular season and 6-0 overall with tournament play.
