Jeane C. Casper Mrs. Casper, 55, of Milltown, died Oct. 27 at home. She worked in finance at Merrill Lynch, Plainsboro, for many years. Surviving are her husband, Robert Casper, M.D.; a son, Matthew of Milltown; a brother, Joseph Pospis of Saddle Brook; a sister-in-law, Mary Basilo of Englewood; and two brothers-in-law, Tom Casper of Westbrook, Conn., and Edward Casper of West Virginia. A memorial service will be held at the Unitarian Society, East Brunswick, at a time and date to be announced. Vincent P. Cook Mr. Cook, 77, of Spotswood, died Oct. 27 at home. A son, Vincent F. Cook, died in 2002. Surviving are his wife, Muriel Sunkel Cook; three daughters, Kathleen Taylor of Charleston, S.C., Eileen Sinagra of East Brunswick and Susan Uihlein of Essex, Conn.; three sisters, Kathleen Batzle of Laguna Beach, Calif., and Emily Terzis and Janet O’Keefe, both of Florida; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick. Lillian E. Nolan Boland Mrs. Boland, 102, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Oct. 17 in Briar Wood Care Center, Sayreville. She was predeceased by her husbands, John Nolan and Frank Boland. Surviving are a daughter, Kathleen Pryor, with whom she lived; three grandchildren, Christopher Pryor, Linda Bahamondes and James Pryor; eight great-grandchildren; and a niece. Services were held at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin. Cremation was private. William Diamantis, Ph.D. Dr. Diamantis, 82, of East Brunswick, died Oct. 29 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 1992, he was the director of pharmacology at Carter Wallace Laboratory, Cranbury, where he worked for 32 years. He also was an assistant professor of pharmacology for 15 years at Fordham University, the Bronx, N.Y. Surviving are his wife, Mary Strezou Diamantis; two sons, John of Woodbridge, Va., and Perry of East Brunswick; a brother, James of Wyndham, N.Y.; and two granddaughters. A liturgy will be offered at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 3 at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Piscataway. Interment will follow in Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick. Margaret H. Halliday Fogarty Mrs. Fogarty, 92, of South Amboy, formerly of Sayreville, died Oct. 17 in Saint Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was employed as a seamstress in South River for many years. Her husband, James, died in 1993, and a son, James M., died in 1987. Surviving are two daughters, Ann Fogarty of Sayreville and Mary O’Leary of Parsippany; two sons, Cornelius J. of South Amboy and Thomas A. of Sayreville; and three grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Mary’s Church, South Amboy. Interment was in the church cemetery.
James Myzhevych Mr. Myzhevych, 64, of South River, died Oct. 29 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 2004, he was employed as a shipping and receiving foreman at Permacel Tape Co., North Brunswick, where he worked for 40 years. Surviving are his wife, Vera Spasenyj Myzhevych; two sons, James Myzhevych Jr., of New Windsor, N.Y., and Mark Myzhevych of the Whiting section of Manchester; a daughter, Karen Wyer of Old Bridge; a brother, Nickoli Myzhevych of Belarus; a sister, Nadia Cegerenko of Englewood, Fla.; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A service was held at St. Euphrosynia Belarusian Greek Orthodox Church, South River. Interment was in the church cemetery. Jeanette G. Collender Mrs. Collender, 87, of Conroe, Texas, formerly of East Brunswick, died Oct. 23 in Odyssey House, Conroe. She was predeceased by her husband, James J. Collender Sr.; a granddaughter, Kathleen Nigro; and a son-in-law, Thomas Ebinger. Surviving are three daughters, Joan Collender of East Brunswick, Maureen Walmsley of Hightstown and Laraine Ebinger Brame of Conroe; a son, James Collender of Old Bridge; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. A memorial Mass is planned for 10 a.m. on Nov. 3 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Milltown. Entombment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park Cemetery, North Brunswick. Charles Reid Mr. Reid, 68, of Sayreville, formerly of Jamesburg, died Oct. 30 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. He was formerly employed at Merit Gas, East Brunswick, and before that he worked at Kimberly Clark, Spotswood. Surviving are three children, Deborah Grzyb and Donna Novak, both of Sayreville, and Denise Baszak of the Parlin section of Sayreville; six grandchildren; and his former wife, Virginia Reid of Sayreville. Services were held at Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville. Cremation was private.
Violet Krassowski Mrs. Krassowski, 86, of East Brunswick, formerly of Milltown, died Oct. 31 in Barbara E. Cheung Memorial Hospice, Edison. Her husband, Nicholas, died in 1977, and a son, Nicholas Jr., died in 1999. Surviving are a son, David of Broomfield, Colo.; two daughters, Marcia Kiefer of East Brunswick and Pam Willey of Marietta, Ga.; a sister, Helen Yanna of Pittsburgh; and seven grandchildren. A liturgy will be offered at noon on Nov. 3 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Milltown. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
Frances G. Singer Mrs. Singer, 75, of Sayreville, formerly of South River, died Oct. 29 in Barbara E. Cheung Memorial Hospice, Edison. Prior to her retirement, she and her husband, Alfred Singer, were the owners of Singer’s Flower Shop, Sayreville, for 11 years. A son, Alfred Singer Jr., died in 2004. Surviving are her husband, Alfred; a son, Thomas Singer of Jackson; a sister, Pearl Rusak of East Brunswick; a brother, Thomas Kolacz of Manalapan; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick.
