      Richard Jansen

      Mr. Jansen, 77, of South River, died Dec. 11 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. He was employed at Johnson & Johnson, Milltown, for 46 years, retiring in 1993. Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Laura Jansen; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A funeral service was held at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Arrangements were by Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy.

      Anne E. Rondinone Vivenzio

      Mrs. Vivenzio, 84, of Spotswood, died Dec. 20 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was a factory worker at E.R. Squibb & Sons, New Brunswick, for 20 years, retiring in 1984. Her husband, Francis, died in 1997. Surviving are three sons, Philip F. Vivenzio of Milltown, Francis Vivenzio of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Richard Vivenzio of Millstone; a daughter, Janet DiBella of Henderson, Nev.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.

      Dorothy E. Siemiaszko

      Mrs. Siemiaszko, 67, of Freehold Township, formerly of South River, died Dec. 25 in Summerhill Nursing Center, Old Bridge. She was an insurance underwriter for Northeast Insurance Services, Marlboro. Surviving are her husband, Lawrence J. Siemiaszko; a daughter, Cheryl Ondris of Great Neck, N.Y.; a sister, Barbara Eppinger of Riverside, Calif.; and a grandson. A memorial service was held at Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 2550 Route 1 North, North Brunswick, NJ 08902.

      Patricia Joy Dowling Hughes

      Mrs. Hughes, 60, of Parlin, died Dec. 13 at home. She resided in the Cliffwood section of Aberdeen before moving to Parlin 33 years ago. Mrs. Hughes is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William Francis and Joann Hughes of Old Bridge; two daughters and one son-in-law, MaryBeth and Kevin McDermott of Monroe, and Colleen Ellen Hughes of Parlin; a brother, Richard J. Dowling of South Amboy; a sister, Joan Ann Scheid of Rahway; and three grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Bernadette’s Roman Catholic Church, Parlin. Interment was at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport. Arrangements were by The Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy.

      Mary G. Thomas Bennet

      Mrs. Bennet, 77, of Monroe, died Dec. 15 at home. She was a secretary and bookkeeper for the Old Bridge Board of Education before her retirement. Mrs. Bennet was predeceased by her husband, Henry D. Bennet, in 1996; a sister, Theresa Nemeth; and a brother, Joseph Thomas. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Cathy Bennet of Monroe; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Old Bridge. Arrangements were by Brunswick Memorial Funeral Home, East Brunswick.       David Peter Weischadle Jr.

      Mr. Weischadle, 19, of Brick, formerly of Jackson and Sayreville, died Dec. 15 in Overlook Hospital, Summit. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Mary T. Russo, and by his paternal grandfather, Edward Weischadle. Surviving are his parents, David Peter Weischadle Sr. of Clark and MaryAnn Weischadle of Point Pleasant; four sisters, Kristina Weischadle and Melanie Weischadle, both of Brick, and Meridith Weischadle and Madison Weischadle, both of Clark; his maternal grandfather, Charles X. Russo Sr. of Lakewood; his paternal grandmother, Mary Weischadle of South River; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Services were held at the First Baptist Church of Southard, Howell. Memorial contributions may be made to The University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Heart and Lung Transplant Program, 3400 Spruce St., Philadelphia, PA 19104.

      Florence Hummer Freeman

      Mrs. Freeman, 85, of Old Bridge, died Dec. 15 at The Reformed Church Home, Old Bridge. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles, in 1978; and three brothers, Elmond, Sherman and Hilaire Hummer. Mrs. Freeman is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Donna Freeman of Hillsborough; a daughter and son-in-law, Robyn and John Blair of Dunellen; two brothers, John Hummer of Florida and Lloyd Hummer of Clinton; and three grandchildren. Arrangements were by The Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Memorial donations may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation, 1034 Salem Road, Union 07083.

      Rita Desautels Ryan

      Mrs. Ryan, 79, of East Brunswick, died Dec. 17 at home. She was predeceased by her husband, Ray Ryan in 1997. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sandy Ryan of Boonton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Mark Sahli, and Nancy and James Miller, all of East Brunswick; two sisters, Emma Tomasula of Old Bridge, and Pauline Waer of Union; a sister-in-law, Frances Ryan of Memphis; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Entombment was at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Arrangements were by Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.

      Francis X. Healy

      Mr. Healy, 90, of Old Bridge, died Dec. 16 at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Lyons. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a member of the Amvets. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Healy in 1979; and a son-in-law, John Schlenk in 2003. He is survived by three daughters and one son-in-law, Anita Campbell of Estero, Fla., Frances Schlenk of East Brunswick, and Virginia and Phillip Hudson of Old Bridge; six grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Old Bridge. Burial was at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y. Arrangements were by Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.

      Edward B. Creed

      Mr. Creed, 88, of the Morgan section of Sayreville, died Dec. 19 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. He was employed at E.I. DuPont Fabric & Finish Division, Parlin section of Sayreville, for 40 years, retiring 28 years ago. His wife, Blanche M. Creed, died in 2001. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Leon and Dorothy Wriolie of Sayreville; a granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. Interment was in Christ Church Cemetery, South Amboy. Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin, was in charge of arrangements.

      Nancy Carol Mincey

      Mrs. Mincey, 40, of Farmingdale, formerly of Brick, died Dec. 16 in Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. A 1984 graduate of Madison Central High School, Old Bridge, she was an associate with Wal-Mart for seven years. She was predeceased by her parents, Eleanor and Clifford Adkins. Surviving are three daughters, Sheila and Sarah Mincey, and Josie Lynn Colonna, all at home; two sons, Samuel Mincey, also at home, and Pfc. David Mincey, U.S. Marine Corps, Marine Corps Air Station New River in North Carolina; two brothers, Robert and Clifford; four sisters, JoAnn, Susann, Elinor and Christina; her partner of 14 years, Andrew Colonna of Wall Township; four nieces; four nephews; and 10 great-nieces and great-nephews. A funeral service was held at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan. Interment was private.
