March 2

• Basketball Game, featuring staff members at Spotswood High School and members of the Spotswood Police Department vs. a team of Spotswood High School seniors, 6 p.m., in the gym at the high school, Summerhill Road. Admission is $2. A signed Trenton Thunder baseball and four Thunder tickets will be raffled off at halftime. Proceeds will go to the high school’s senior-class picnic. Call Sgt. • Cell Phones for Soldiers Drive, ongoing, at Liberty Tax Service, 723 Route 18, at Racetrack Road, East Brunswick. Donations of used cell phones are sought. Each phone is recycled through Cell Phones for Soldiers (www.cellphonesforsoldiers.com) to provide a 100-minute calling card for a member of the military stationed overseas. • Fish Fry, sponsored by St. Stan’s HSA, 4-7 p.m., in the St. Stanislaus Kostka School cafeteria, 221 MacArthur Ave., Sayreville. Fish dinners, pizza, macaroni and cheese, clam chowder. 50/50 raffle.
