Theater group to stage
'Dial M for Murder'
The Sayreville Main Street Theatre Company will present its production of "Dial M for Murder" at 8 p.m. on April 21 and 28, 2 and 8 p.m. on April 22 and 29, and 3 p.m. on April 23 in the Theater Space at Garden Friends, 3018 Bordentown Road, Parlin section of Sayreville.
Tickets cost $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and students. A dessert, beverage and table seating is included in the ticket price.

Vendors are sought for the Simpson United Methodist Church Youth Group Outdoor Flea Market planned for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 20 at the church, Route 516 and Owens Road, Old Bridge. Rain date is May 14.

Hazardous waste drop-off days scheduled
The Middlesex County Division of Solid Waste Management recently set the following household hazardous waste drop-off days schedule:
+ April 15 at the Middlesex County Highways Department, Apple Orchard Lane, off Route 130, North Brunswick;
+ May 21 at Middlesex County College, near the Mill Road entrance, Edison.
All collection times are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Household hazardous wastes which are improperly disposed of are identified as a danger to children and animals, a potential cause of groundwater pollution and a potential threat to garbage collection crews.
Acceptable materials that county residents may bring for disposal include, but are not limited to: pesticides/herbicides; flammable liquids; solvents; pool chemicals; used motor oil; oil filters; paints; car batteries; household batteries; antifreeze; propane tanks; fluorescent light bulbs (no broken bulbs); and asbestos. Residents who wish to bring asbestos (maximum 300 pounds) must register by calling (732) 745-4170.
Materials which will not be accepted are tires, explosives and munitions, infectious waste, unknown materials and empty containers.
The drop-off days are sponsored by the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders and are conducted in cooperation with the Middlesex County Department of Public Works-Division of Highways and Middlesex County College.
The events are open to residents of Middlesex County only and are free of charge. Items should be brought in clearly marked containers.

Eating-disorders group
to meet at E.B. Library
The Eating Disorder Association of New Jersey holds a monthly support group from 10:30 a.m. to noon on the second Saturday of every month in the community room at the East Brunswick Public Library, Jean Walling Civic Center.
Individuals struggling with anorexia, bulimia, overeating and/or chronic dieting are welcome, as are family members and friends. The group is free of charge and open to the public.

books at flea market
The Milltown Friends of the Library will operate a book-sale table at the United Methodist Church Flea Market set for 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 13 at the church, 47 N. Main St., Milltown.
New and good-quality paperbacks and hardcovers will be offered at discounted prices. Books for children and adults will be featured.

School volleyball game
to benefit MS research
The Spotswood High School History Club and Octagon Community Service Club will host their annual Volleyball Game to Fight Multiple Sclerosis (MS) from 6-8 p.m. on April 27 at the school, Summerhill Road. All proceeds will benefit the MS Research Foundation. In the last five years, the volleyball event has raised almost $25,000 to fight MS. Club adviser Frank Yusko is battling the disease. Admission is a donation in any amount for the MS Research Foundation. The public is welcome. Sponsors are sought.
Methodist women seek
vendors for flea market
Vendors are sought for the United Methodist Women of Trinity United Methodist Church Spring Flea Market set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 29 at the church, 70 Manalapan Road, Spotswood.

Education panel sets used-clothing drive
The Milltown Education Foundation will sponsor a used-clothing drive from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 18, at the Borough Park gazebo, Milltown.
Items sought include clothing, shoes, belts, handbags and stuffed animals. Donations should be secured in plastic garbage bags for drop off.
Local artists sought for exhibit at Java Joint
Local artists are invited to exhibit their works, including painting, sculpture and photographs, at an art show planned for noon to 6 p.m. on May 20 at the Java Joint Cafe, Ticetown Square Plaza, Route 9, Old Bridge.
Participants will have the opportunity to display, discuss and sell their work, if they choose.

High school to sponsor Tea and Gift Auction
