I would like to call the attention of the citizens of Spotswood to the name of John Shaughnessy, a candidate for Borough Council.

John was a member of the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office for many years. Now retired, he would be able to devote full time to the council position. John is a longtime member of the Spotswood community, and his children have attended Spotswood schools. His wife, Lauren, is a teacher in the system. It would be my opinion that John would bring a wealth of knowledge to the position.

I believe a vote for John Shaughnessy would be a step in the right direction for Spotswood.
