Marjorie R. Fleming

Mrs. Fleming of Middletown, died June 22 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she resided in Jersey City, and Parlin, prior to moving to Middletown 20 years ago. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, South Amboy. She was a former member of the Jersey City Woman's Club, and Order of Martha at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Jersey City. She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred J. Fleming. She is survived by a daughter, Maryann Howarth of South River; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a niece. Burial was at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin. Arrangements were by Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River.

Ethel Convertini Caparelli

Mrs. Caparelli, 92, of Brick, died June 17 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her husband, Vito Caparelli, died in 1975. Surviving are a daughter, Ethel DeBari of East Brunswick; a brother, Vito Convertini of Fairview; two sisters, Joan McMahan and Frances Thalman, both of Union City; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew's Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.

Donald F. Feaster

Mr. Feaster, 81, of North Brunswick, formerly of Milltown, died June 26 in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was predeceased by two brothers, Vincent and James Feaster. Surviving are a sister and brother-in-law, Veronica and James Sullivan of Milltown; two sisters-in-law, Mary Feaster of Milltown and Margaret Feaster of New Brunswick; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on June 29 at Our Lady of Peace Church, North Brunswick. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick.

Maria C. Garcia

Mrs. Garcia, 92, of Spotswood, died June 16 in Old Bridge Manor. Prior to her retirement in 1976, she was a seamstress for more than 42 years. Surviving are a daughter, Sylvia Motta of Spotswood; two grandchildren, Peter Motta and Salvatore Motta; and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden. Sigmund M. Kuchta

Mr. Kuchta, 90, of Sayreville, died June 13 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Prior to his retirement in 1981, he was employed as a carpenter for 40 years with Hercules Inc., Parlin section of Sayreville. Surviving are his wife, Pearl Derent Kuchta; three sons, Peter of Eatontown, Paul of Wall and David of Sayreville; four sisters, Josephine Zalewski, Elizabeth Kukulski, Tessie Kwiatkowski and Bernie Kapica, all of Sayreville; a brother, Joseph Kuchta, also of Sayreville; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A memorial Mass was offered at St. Stanislaus Church, Sayreville. Cremation was private.

Edward J. Kelly

Mr. Kelly, 77, of East Brunswick, died June 20 in Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Surviving are his wife, Georgina Mitchell Kelly; two children, E. Shawn Kelly of Middlesex and Georgia Hockenjos of East Brunswick; and five grandchildren. Services were held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Spotswood. Interment was in Hollywood Cemetery, Union. Thomas S. Lyons Sr.

Mr. Lyons, 86, of East Brunswick, died June 22 in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. His wife, Claire Weidener Lyons, died in 1999, and a daughter, Joan Lyons, died in 1977. Surviving are a daughter, Jan Lyons of Ocean Grove; a son, Thomas S. Lyons Jr. of Little Silver; a daughter, Pamela Lyons Rypisi of Ewing; and eight grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew's Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or to the East Brunswick High School Booster Club.

Dolores A. Malone

Mrs. Malone, 68, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died June 13 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Prior to her retirement in 1999, she was a deli clerk with Pathmark supermarket, Old Bridge, where she worked for 10 years. Her husband, Michael, died in 1999. Surviving are a son, Michael of Spotswood; a daughter, Sharon of Clifton; a brother, George Reger of the Toms River section of Dover; a sister, Gloria Berine of Bayville; and three grandchildren. Services were held at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge. Cremation was private.

Elmer G. Stout

Mr. Stout, 96, of Barnegat, formerly of South River, died June 18 in Barnegat Nursing Center. Prior to his retirement in 1976, he was employed as a truck driver with Johnson Motor Line, Avenel section of Woodbridge. Before that, he worked as a driver with Garford Trucking, South River. He was predeceased by his wife, Charlotte Mrozek Stout; a daughter, Charlotte Elaine Stout; and a son, William Stout. Surviving are three sons, David of Barnegat, Donald of Middletown and Elmer of Springhill, Fla.; a daughter-in-law, Kathleen Stout of North Brunswick; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrbrama Church, South River. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Brunswick.

Emma S. Tozzi

Mrs. Tozzi, 84, of North Brunswick, died June 26 at home. Her husband, Vincent Tozzi, died in 1999. Surviving are three daughters, Emily Gardiner of Long Branch, Jeanne Riddiford of Milltown and Joanne Tozzi-Wydra of the Mullica Hill section of Harrison; two sisters, Evelyn Waverczak and Julia Szeg, both of Morristown; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on June 29 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, East Brunswick. Interment will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Bridgewater. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 2600 Route 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902.

Dennis C. Walker

Mr. Walker, 59, of East Brunswick, died June 21 in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was employed as an accountant with Bessemer Trust, Woodbridge, for 11 years. Surviving are his wife, Linda Hydu Walker; a son, David of New Brunswick; and a daughter, Ashley of East Brunswick. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew's Church, East Brunswick. H. Douglas Young

Mr. Young, 81, of East Brunswick, died June 19 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Lorraine Kuhmann Young; three sons, Douglas Young of Monroe, Paul Young of Neptune and Andrew Young of the Browns Mills section of Pemberton; a daughter, Mary Young of East Brunswick; a brother, Robert Allan Young of Passaic; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew's Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arnytown section of North Hanover. John Andrew Darroch

Mr. Darroch, 68, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died June 18 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Claire Swift Darroch; a son, John Andrew Darroch Jr. of Old Bridge; two daughters, Sandra McShane of Bristol, Pa., and Shannon Cicero of Spotswood; and three grandchildren. Services were held at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin. Cremation was private. Memorial contributions may be made to the local chapter of the American Diabetes Association.
