      Robert J. Driscoll Sr.

      Mr. Driscoll, 82, of Parlin, died July 28 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Elizabeth, he resided in Parlin the pat 52 years. He was an electrician at PSE&G, Elizabeth, for 30 years, retiring in 1980. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a President Park Firefighter for 45 years, where he was also an ex-Chief. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Annette Ficarra Driscoll Sr.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Loretta Harris, and Susan and Robert Hohner, all of Parlin; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert J. and Marcia Driscoll Jr. of North Brunswick; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Bernadette's Roman Catholic Church, Parlin. Burial was at New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin. Arrangements were by Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin.

      Sandra Boley

      Ms. Boley, 56, of South River, died July 24 at home. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Sally Friedlander Boley. Surviving are a sister, Sherrill Boley Nicolosi of Arkansas; and two brothers, Scott Boley and Mitchell Boley, both of East Brunswick. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Congregation Anshe Emeth Cemetery, East Brunswick.

      Eva T. McCaughey Cella

      Mrs. Cella, 77, of Spotswood, died July 26 at home. Her husband, Anthony Cella, died in 1996, and a son, John Cella, died in 1978. Surviving are two sons, Joseph Cella of Spotswood and Michael Cella of the Somerset section of Franklin; a daughter-in-law, Lydia Cella of Brooklyn, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Interment was in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) of Central New Jersey Hospice, 141 Bodman Place, Red Bank, NJ 07701.

      Raymond P. Leffler

      Mr. Leffler, 89, of Spotswood, died July 27 in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. His wife, Frances, died in 1994. Surviving are two daughters, Eileen Engst of Monroe and Jean M. Johnson of Helmetta; two sons, James of Phoenix, Ariz., and John of the Skillman section of Montgomery; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

      Marie Makowski

      Mrs. Makowski, 82, of Monroe, died July 25 in University Medical Center at Princeton. Her husband, Thomas, died in 2000. Surviving are two sons, Thomas of Bayville and Steven of Manalapan; a daughter, Mary McCormack of the Glenwood section of Vernon; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Thomas More Church, Manalapan. Interment was in Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan.

      Virginia Annie Schwarz

      Mrs. Schwarz, 82, of Englishtown, formerly of East Brunswick, died July 25 in CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was predeceased by a son, Charles Schwarz Jr., in 1956. Surviving are her husband, Charles Schwarz Sr.; a son, Wayne Schwarz of Englishtown; a daughter, Carol Penson of Pottsville, Pa.; a brother, Chester Coddington of Lavallette; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arnytown section of North Hanover. Memorial donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852.

      Anne Maleska Yanchyshyn

      Mrs. Yanchyshyn, 89, of East Brunswick, died July 28 in Barbara E. Cheung Memorial Hospice, Edison. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the Card Cage, Brunswick Square Mall, East Brunswick. Her husband, William Yanchyshyn, died in 1968. Surviving are a son, William Yanchyshyn of Indian Mound, Tenn.; a daughter, Judith Gatta of East Brunswick; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment was in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia section of Woodbridge. Memorial contributions may be made to Barbara E. Cheung Memorial Hospice.

      Marion E. Pullen Cruger

      Mrs. Cruger, 91, of Jamesburg, died July 30 in Old Bridge Manor. Her husband, Charles, died in 1984. Surviving are a daughter, Beverly Hutchinson of East Brunswick; a sister, Helen Pullen of the Fortescue section of Downe; two brothers, Harry and Clarence Pullen, both of Jamesburg; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held at Fernwood Cemetery, Jamesburg. Arrangements were under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2600 Route 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902.

      Joseph James Hans

      Mr. Hans, 82, of South River, died July 28 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Prior to his retirement in 1988, he was employed as a chemical operator with W.W. Henry Co., South River, where he worked for 15 years. He was predeceased by five brothers, James J., Harold, Raymond, Russell and Edward Hans. Surviving are many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment was in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville.

      James H. Suozzo

      Mr. Suozzo, 46, of Old Bridge, died July 26 in Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York City. Surviving are his wife, Harriet Suozzo; five sons, Aaron, Andrew, Brian, Christopher and Joseph Suozzo of Old Bridge; his parents, Frank V. Suozzo Sr. and Cecilia H. Suozzo of Staten Island, N.Y.; two brothers, Frank V. Suozzo Jr. of Jersey City and Edward J. Suozzo of Hillsborough; a sister, Elizabeth Villani of Staten Island; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, David and Florrizele Hodge; and five nieces and nephews. Services were held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Perth Amboy. Interment was in Clover Leaf Cemetery, Woodbridge.
