      Sept. 21

      + Used Inkjet and Laser Computer Cartridge Collection, sponsored by the Spotswood High School Band. Drop-off boxes located at all Spotswood schools; Spotswood Public Library, Spotswood Post Office and Kearny Bank, all Main Street; KrisKell Creations Hair Salon, Summerhill Road.       Sept. 21-Oct. 31

      + Dvds4troops Collection, to benefit U.S. troops overseas, sponsored by the Spotswood High School History Club. DVDs and music CDs may be dropped off at the high school, Summerhill Road, in care of Frank Yusko, club adviser. Dvds4troops, begun by Iraqi Freedom veteran Sgt.       Sept. 22

      + Fabulous '50s Gift Auction, sponsored by Raritan Bay Cougars Pop Warner, doors open at 6 p.m., event begins at 7:30 p.m., at Old Bridge Elks Lodge No. 2229, Old Amboy Road.       Sept. 22 & Fridays through Oct. 20

      + Cruise Nights/Car Show, to benefit the Sayreville Brain Injured Children Association, sponsored by the Just Us Cruisers classic car club, 6-9 p.m., at the Paramount Diner, Route 35, South Amboy/Sayreville. Family-oriented events featuring more than 50 antique and classic cars from across the tri-state area. Trophies; games; music from the '50s, '60s, '70s.
