Jennie J. Telleri Lovas

Mrs. Lovas, 83, of Piscataway, died Oct. 14, 2006, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. Surviving are her husband, Richard Lovas; eight sisters, Josephine Hall, Grace Manfre, Lucy R. Bisso and Connie Brusca, all of North Brunswick, Millie Romer, Rose Eden and Mary Telleri, all of New Brunswick, and Helen Perrone of Piscataway; and a brother, Grant Telleri of Milltown. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Mount Virgin Church, New Brunswick. Entombment was in Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.

Francis P. "Wally" Tighe

Mr. Tighe, 87, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, formerly of South Amboy, died Oct. 22, 2006, at home. He was a security supervisor at Ford Motor Co., Edison, for 30 years, retiring in 1978. He was also an assistant at Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy, and a driver at two liveries. He was predeceased by his first wife, Anne Walsh Tighe, in 1972, and by a son, Edward Tighe, in 1989. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Dube Tighe; two sons, John Tighe of South Amboy and Thomas Tighe of Sayreville; three daughters, Kathleen Tighe of North Brunswick, Patricia Herren of Kihei, Hawaii, and Elizabeth Bravman of Denver; and three grandchildren. Visitation is set for Oct. 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Gundrum Service Home for Funerals. A Mass will be offered on Oct. 27 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, South Amboy. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery, South Amboy. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 256 Augusta St., South Amboy, NJ 08879, or to VNA of Central Jersey, 141 Bodman Place, Red Bank, NJ 07701.

Winifred L. Berry Baumann

Mrs. Baumann, 73, of Spotswood, died Oct. 21, 2006, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her husband, Vernon, died in 2000. Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Surowiec of Howell; a son, Kevin of South Amboy; a brother, Kenny Berry of Old Bridge; two sisters, Karen Sciarappo of Freehold and Ellie McGill of Old Bridge; and three grandchildren. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Spotswood Reformed Church Cemetery.

Viola Negri Sanders

Mrs. Sanders, 82, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Oct. 18, 2006, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are her husband, Joseph Sanders; two sons, Joseph Jr. of Parlin and Robert of Old Bridge; two daughters, Linda Maglio of the Brick Town section of Brick and Susan Alt of Parlin; two sisters, Helen Pascucci and Emily Ruggiero; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin. A Mass followed at St. Bernadette's Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge.

Joan C. Smith Ryan

Mrs. Ryan, 78, of the Morgan section of Sayreville, formerly of the Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge, died Oct. 21, 2006, in Bayside Manor, Keansburg. A Sayreville mayoral candidate in the 1970s, she served as chairwoman of the Sayreville Environmental Commission for 10 years. Surviving are her husband, Edward; and two daughters, Janet Ryan of Branchburg and Linda Ryan of Washington, D.C. Services were held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Perth Amboy. Interment was in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Living Memorial Fund of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 183 Rector St., Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

Sophie Yanush Allen

Mrs. Allen, 81, of East Brunswick, formerly of the Fords section of Woodbridge, died Oct. 20, 2006, at home. Prior to her retirement in 1988, she worked for 11 years in food service at Rutgers University, New Brunswick. She was predeceased by a son, Scott. Surviving are her husband, John P. Allen Sr.; three sons, John P. Allen Jr. of the Forked River section of Lacey, Larry of Smithville, Ohio, and Kevin of Las Vegas, Nev.; two daughters, Karen Allen-Guen and Barbara Lotti, both of East Brunswick; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Services were held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Spotswood. Interment was in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Spotswood, NJ 08884.

Betty Jane Lauritsen Miller

Mrs. Miller, 76, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Oct. 16, 2006, at home. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Miller, in 1998. Surviving are a son, Christian R. Miller of South Brunswick; a daughter, Susan E. Miller of Metuchen; a brother, Norman Lauritsen of Rahway; three sisters, Madeline DeLuccia and Elsie Samuelsen, both of South Amboy, and Emily Grande of Bayville; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson. A requiem Eucharist was held at Christ Episcopal Church, South Amboy. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Jeannette Ann Salloum Monduori

Mrs. Monduori, 85, of Monroe, died Oct. 20, 2006, in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her husband, Salvatore, died in 1995. Surviving are a son, Kenneth J. of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; two daughters, Carolyn Martino of Monroe and Adrianne Maltese of Agura Hills, Calif.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral liturgy was offered at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Entombment was in the Cemetery of the Resurrection, Staten Island, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 2550 Route 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902-4301.

Marie Meier

Mrs. Meier, 73, of Spotswood, formerly of South River and East Brunswick, died Oct. 20, 2006, at home. Surviving are her husband, E. Joe Meier; two daughters, Marlene Wright and Carol Kuna, both of East Brunswick; a brother, Viggo Laumark of Florida; three sisters, Karna Godridge of North Carolina, Barbara Kuykendall of Texas and Kathy Zielinski of East Brunswick; two sisters-in-law, Mary Yeuder of East Brunswick and Lottie Whitehead of Florida; two granddaughters; a great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Visiting Nurse Association.

Scott E. Crigger

Mr. Crigger, 69, of the Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge, died Oct. 17, 2006, in Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Rudy Whited Crigger. Surviving are his wife, Diane Klingel Crigger; four children, Keith Crigger of Laurence Harbor, Lisa Jeleniewski of Keansburg, Brian Crigger of Missouri and Traci Lopez of Keane, N.H.; four sisters, Alma Jean Bobek of Perth Amboy, Lorretta Cox of Kentucky, and Janet Alexander and Theresa Hatton, both of Versailles, Ky.; two brothers, Leslie Crigger of Middlesborough, Ky., and Ralph Crigger of Versailles; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Arlene and Jack Masculine of Perth Amboy; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements were under the direction of Day Funeral Home, Keyport. Cremation was private.

Timothy M. Cahill

Mr. Cahill, 56, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Oct. 23, 2006, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. He was predeceased by his mother, June Relay; his father, Edmund Cahill; a daughter, Christa Yvone; his father-in-law, Emil Matkowski; and a brother-in-law, Michael Matkowski. Surviving are his wife, Jackie Matkowski Cahill; five children, Christopher Michael, Timothy Michael, William Joseph, Katie Ann and Kaylyn Ashley, all at home; three sisters, Trisha Munafo and Kathleen Candrilli, both of Florida, and Anne Marie Cahill of Staten Island, N.Y.; a brother, Edmund Cahill of Staten Island; his mother-in-law, Anna Matkowski of Liberty, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews. Services were held at Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville. Memorial contributions may be made to an education fund for Katie Ann and Kaylyn Ashley Cahill.
