Rosary society offering holiday grave blankets

St. Mary's Altar Rosary Society, South River, is holding its annual holiday grave blanket sale.

Cost is $22 for a 36-inch blanket decorated with pine cones, poinsettias and a bow.

Orders are being taken through Dec. 3 after all Masses at St. Mary's Church, Jackson Street, South River. Pickup is set for noon to 2 p.m. on Dec. 9.

Curtain to rise on

'Babes in Toyland'

The Sayreville Main Street Theatre Company will present its production of the holiday family musical "Babes in Toyland" at 8 p.m. on Dec. 1, 2, 8 and 9 and at 2 p.m. on Dec. 3 and 10 in the company's theater, 3018 Bordentown Ave., Parlin section of Sayreville.

Tickets cost $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and students, $12 for children. Prices include dessert and beverage.
