New classrooms begin to open in East Brunswick
      EAST BRUNSWICK - The first fruits of the $106.1 million building project under way at three township schools are now visible as students are now learning in new classrooms at Central Elementary School. Students in kindergarten through third grade at the Cranbury Road school moved into some 14 new classrooms just prior to winter break in December.

Shawn Feeney, 31, allegedly had illegal relations with students
      EAST BRUNSWICK - An English teacher at East Brunswick High School is facing charges of misconduct and sexual assault involving two females who were students of his at the time. Shawn Feeney, 31, was arrested Dec. 28 by the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office, on allegations he had inappropriate relations with two females, ages 16 and 17, over the course of two school years.
