      Charles H. Baylis

      Mr. Baylis, 83, of Englishtown, died Jan. 15, 2007, in University Medical Center at Princeton. His wife, Theresa Baylis, died in 1989. Surviving are his companion, Doris Kisieleski of Englishtown; a son, Randal Baylis of Monroe; two daughters, Melanie Volker and Debbie Baylis, both of Howell; and eight grandchildren. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.

      Theresa M. Badics

      Mrs. Badics, 64, of Milltown, died Jan. 15, 2007, in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are her husband, Frank Badics; a daughter, Cheryl Badics; her mother, Stella Neat of the Somerset section of Franklin; a sister, Patricia Horvath of Piscataway; a brother, Henry Dzielak of South Bound Brook; and one grandson. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Bartholomew's Church, East Brunswick. Entombment was in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.

      Mary A. Corbett

      Mrs. Corbett, 71, of South Brunswick, died Jan. 22, 2007, at Franklin Care Center, Franklin Township. Born in Baltimore, she resided in Jackson before relocating to South Brunswick in 2002. Mrs. Corbett was a certified nurse's aide at a Lakewood nursing home. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, James K. and Joan Corbett of Milltown, and Charles C. and Patricia Corbett of Monroe; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Ray Mooney of Ocala, Fla.; a sister, Ethel Fiddler of Baltimore; and two grandchildren. Arrangements were by the Crabiel Home for Funerals, Milltown. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 846 Main St., Fords 08863; or Help Hospitalized Veterans, 36585 Penfield Lane, Winchester, CA 92596.

      Gloria V. DeBenedetto Fehl

      Mrs. Fehl, 81, of East Brunswick, formerly of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Jan. 17, 2007, at home. Her husband, William S. Fehl, died in 1993. Surviving are seven children, William Fehl, Michael Fehl and Ronald Fehl, all of East Brunswick, Stephen Fehl of the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick, Laraine Dunwald of Jackson, Robert Fehl of Old Bridge and Donald Fehl of Edison; a sister, Marie Steffen of Beaufort, N.C.; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandson. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Milltown. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Douglas Developmental Disability Center, 151 Ryders Lane, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.

      Angelina "Angie" Emanuelo Giunta

      Mrs. Giunta, 82, of South Amboy, died Jan. 17, 2007, in Barbara E. Cheung Memorial Hospice, Edison. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a seamstress with Reliable Sportswear, South River. Before that, she worked at Finkelstein's, South Amboy. Her husband, Philip Giunta, died in 1984. Surviving are two sons, Anthony Giunta of Freehold and Michael Giunta of Montclair; two daughters, Catherine Martin of Middlesex and Graceanne Giunta of South Amboy; two brothers, Tony and Alfred Emanuelo, both of Wheatley Heights, N.Y.; a sister, Sarah Pezzino of Lindenhurst, N.Y.; and three grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Mary's Church, South Amboy. Interment was in Christ Church Cemetery, also South Amboy. Memorial contributions may be made to the South Amboy First Aid Squad, St. Mary's Church or Barbara E. Cheung Memorial Hospice.

      Gary M. Matthews

      Mr. Matthews, 66, of Old Bridge, formerly of Middletown, died Jan. 15, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 2005, he was a consultant for more than 20 years with Priority Trucking Co., Milltown. Surviving are his wife, Georgette Kyriakides Matthews; three daughters, Dr. Marilyn Matthews of Baltimore, Diane Kyle of Huntington, Md., and Christine Matthews of Alexandria, Va.; a brother, William of Lansing, Mich.; and three grandchildren. A memorial service was held at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge. Cremation was private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, 5845 Richmond Highway, Suite 800, Alexandria, VA 22303.

      Thomas L. Lukowski

      Mr. Lukowski, 57, of East Brunswick, died Jan. 24, 2007, at home. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Lukowski; a son, Thomas L. Lukowski Jr., and a daughter, Tricia L. Lukowski, both of East Brunswick; a brother, Kevin Lukowski of North Brunswick; and a sister, Barbara Molnar of South River. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew's Church, East Brunswick. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick.

      Frederick Huber

      Mr. Huber, 69, of Bordentown, formerly of Milltown, died Jan. 28, 2007, in Samaritan Hospice, Mount Holly. Surviving are his wife, Mary Papp Huber; two daughters, Tracey Crede of Bordentown and Lisa Jedel of Millstone; and a granddaughter, Kaitlyn Crede. Services are planned for 10 a.m. on Feb. 1 at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment will follow in Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Cemetery, South River.

      Russell R. Brewer Sr.

      Mr. Brewer, 66, of Westmont, Pa., formerly of Spotswood, died Jan. 23, 2007, at home. Surviving are his wife, Connie Nipps Brewer; a son, Russell Brewer Jr., and his wife, Conni; his mother, Kathryn Reed Monte; two brothers, Leonard Brewer Sr. and Clatues Brewer Jr.; a sister, Agnes Diaz; a sister-in-law, Beverly Munzing; his mother-in-law, Tillie Nipps; two grandsons; and many nieces and nephews. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Cremation was private.

      Richard P. Pich

      Mr. Pich, 77, of Milltown, formerly of East Brunswick, died Jan. 22, 2007, in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Irene Bello Pich; his children and their spouses, Richard and Barbara Pich and Darleen and John Schultz, all of Milltown, and Kathleen and Richard Nowakowski and John and Greta Pich, all of East Brunswick; a brother, Stanley Pich, and a sister, Helen Duschock, both of East Brunswick; and eight grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew's Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery, also East Brunswick.

      James A. Severino

      Mr. Severino, 64, of Indio, Calif., formerly of East Brunswick, died Jan. 25, 2007, at home. Surviving are two sons, Michael of Milltown, and James, and his wife, Denise, of South River; a daughter, Sarah Severino of East Brunswick; two brothers, Francis Severino of Idaho and Charles Severino of Bogota; his fiancé, Janice Davis; three sisters, Frances O'Keefe, Virginia Allen and Patricia Dunkin; and two grandchildren. Services are planned for 2 p.m. on Feb. 1 at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arnytown section of North Hanover. Arrangements were under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick.

      William Klepper

      Mr. Klepper, 83, of East Brunswick, retired U.S. Army major, died Jan. 24, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Pauline Franklin Klepper; a sister, Alice Petriello of Florida; three nieces, Diane F. Rothschild, Lynn F. Seward and Diane Fox; and five great-nieces and great-nephews. Services were held at St. George's Church, Helmetta. Interment with full military honors is planned for Feb. 13 in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.

      Sylvia Sternlicht Rauch

      Mrs. Rauch, 93, of East Brunswick, died Jan. 21, 2007, in Summerhill Nursing Home, Old Bridge. Her husband, Harry Rauch, died in 1998. Surviving are a daughter, Roberta Fachler, and her husband, Lawrence, of East Brunswick; a son, Norman Rauch, and his wife, Dr. Roselyn Rauch, of Washington Township; two sisters, Miriam Warmbrand and Shirley Decker, both of Rego Park, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Floral Park Cemetery, Dayton section of South Brunswick.

      Norman R. Philipp

      Mr. Philipp, 73, of East Brunswick, died Jan. 25, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He served as chairman of the East Brunswick Water Board. Surviving are his wife, Nancy; two daughters, Emmy Kachel, and her husband, Jeffery, and Kimberly Chotkowski, and her husband, Alexander, all of West Chester, Pa.; and four grandchildren. A memorial service was held at Nativity Lutheran Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Pennsylvania. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.

      Katherine Subota

      Mrs. Subota, 85, of Monroe, died Jan. 23, 2007, in Somerset Medical Center, Somerset section of Franklin. Her husband, Adolf Subota, died in 2006. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a seamstress by Brodsky and Sons, South River. A service was held at St. Mary of Zyrovicy Belarus Autocephalic Orthodox Church, Highland Park. Interment was in the church cemetery.
