Mrs. Basara, 92, of South River, died Feb. 16, 2007, at home. She worked as a seamstress for more than 40 years with several dress factories in South River. A granddaughter, Beverly, died in 2006. Surviving are her husband, John; two sons, Fred, and his wife, Irma of Cresco, Pa., and John, and his wife, Barbara, of Florida; two brothers, Stanley Krempecki of Pennsylvania and Edward Babecki of Woodbridge; and three grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Brunswick.
