      Atlantic City offers the full gamut of emotions
      GMC wrestlers fare well against state's best
            Atlantic City can be a cruel place.It can also be a place where dreams come true. The top wrestlers in the state had an opportunity to experience the wide spectrum of emotions that the season's final tournament offers when they converged on Boardwalk Hall this past weekend to compete in the NJSIAA's state championships.

            Brookdale Community College's women have captured the Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) championships before - three times, to be exact. But the 2006-07 title will hold a special place for coaches Joanne Cobb and Marianne Campacci.

            Freshman Jeremiah Lachaud, of East Brunswick, helped the Muhlenberg College men's indoor track and field team finish fourth at the Centennial Conference Championships, held Feb. 24-25 at Haverford College in Pennsylvania. Lachaud placed fifth in the 55-meter dash, running a time of 6.73.

            Fish On Return of winter stalls early striped bass fishing In search of the first striped bass of the year was not as easy as I thought.Opening day was Thursday, March 1. I searched as far south as Exit 58 on the Garden State Parkway. Bloodworms were the bait of choice, which was almost impossible to even find.
