      Italian Night Buffet will aid Police Unity
            The East Brunswick Police Department will sponsor an Italian Night Buffet from 5-9 p.m. on March 23 in the cafeteria at East Brunswick High School, Cranbury Road. The event will feature an all-you-can-eat buffet dinner provided by Carrabba's Italian Grill. Coffee will be provided by Starbucks, desserts by Via Dolce Cafe and Gelateria.

      Registration under way for April 21 A.C. trip
            Helmetta Recreation will offer an April 21 bus trip to Resorts Casino, Atlantic City. The bus will depart at 1 p.m. from borough hall, Main Street. Return is set for approximately 11 p.m. Cost is $25 per person, with a $20 slot credit and an $8 food voucher in return.

            The Immaculate Conception Fathers Club will host its annual Breakfast With the Easter Bunny from 9 a.m. to noon on March 25 in the Immaculate Conception School cafeteria, 23 Manalapan Road, Spotswood.       Animal shelter plans St. Pat's open house
            The Sayreville Pet Adoption Center, 1400 Main St., will hold a St. Patrick's Day Open House from 12:30-4 p.m. on March 17. The first 50 adults to visit the shelter will receive a complimentary New Jersey State Lottery Instant Ticket to celebrate the "lucky" St. Patrick's Day holiday. Children will have a chance to choose a lucky "gold coin" from the Leprechaun's Pot of Gold.

            The Spotswood Public Library, 548 Main St., will hold a blood drive from 4-7:30 p.m. on March 21. The Blood Center of New Jersey will conduct the drive. A bloodmobile will be on location in the library parking lot. Free cholesterol screenings will be available for all blood donors.
