The Monroe U12 Lady Falcons won their North Brunswick League quarterfinal game but fell in the semifinals. In the quarterfinal game, Monroe defeated the East Brunswick seventh-grade squad, 38-28. Jackie Racine led the scoring with 12 points while Christina Felice (eight points), Kylie Davidson (seven points), Samantha Clark (six points), and Keriann Manziano (five points) provided the rest of the offense. Alexa Carini and Kristen Junquet each had a pair of steals and Fallon Regan and Meghan McClaren pulled down two rebounds each.
In the semifinals, Monroe was overwhelmed by the Woodbridge team. A combination of sharpshooting by Woodbridge and Monroe's inability to get anything to drop during the first half led to a 30-7 first-half deficit. Monroe played better in the second half but could not overcome the advantage and fell 47-24. Felice netted seven points with Racine (six points) and Davidson (five points) supporting her effort. Clark and Manziano each added three points. Junquet had a steal and Carini provided some key defensive minutes. Regan and McClaren again grabbed a pair of rebounds apiece.
