Family extends gratitude to S.R. Fire Dept.

We would like to extend our most sincere thanks to the South River Fire Department for assisting us in sending our brother, Fred Roselli, to his eternal resting place. To his sisters, Fred was our patriarch and a pillar in our community.

The honor guard the fire department provided at the funeral home, at St. Stephen Protomartyr Church, South River, and at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Brunswick, offered a solemn farewell to a fellow fireman. As we witnessed the changing of the guard at regular intervals and their salute each time that change occurred, we felt a real sense of dignity and respect for our brother.

The South River Fire Department was one of Fred's passions for more than 50 years, and we are sure he, too, was pleased with the wonderful tribute its members gave him.

We also would like to thank the South River and East Brunswick police departments for their traffic assistance during our cortege.
