Olga Kalinin

Mrs. Kalinin, 89, of South River, died May 3, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Her first husband, Ignatius Czerec, died in 1951, and a daughter, Nina Marya Kalinin, died in 2002. Surviving are her husband, Nikolai Kalinin; two daughters, Antonia Kosa of Spotswood and Anna Kalinin of South River; and two grandchildren. Services were held at Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River. Interment was in Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Cemetery, South River.

Herman Morris

Mr. Morris, 75, of Monroe, died May 5, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Edna; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly Anne and Tim Miller of Kentucky and Karin and Jeff Sharenow of Englishtown; a brother, Morris Morris of Maryland; and three grandchildren. Graveside services were held at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834-1365.

Olga Zielinski

Mrs. Zielinski, 86, of Salisbury, Pa., formerly of Spotswood, died April 27, 2007, in Pocono Valley Health Care Center, Salisbury. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Zielinski. Surviving are two sons, Robert Zielinski of the Belford section of Middletown and Thomas Zielinski of Lakewood; two daughters, Maryann Both of Spotswood and Carol Ann Adams of Cincinnati; a sister, Helen Wilbur of Virginia; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.

Agnes McGuire Canavan

Mrs. Canavan, 81, of Spotswood, formerly of Old Bridge, died May 2, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Canavan. Surviving are four children, Kathleen M. Egner, Joseph M. Canavan, Maureen A. Posik and Rosemarie Wallace; five sisters, Jane Legowski, Mary Farrell, Theresa McGowan, Eva Dunn and Catherine Fagan; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandson. A Mass was offered at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

Donald Klochak

Mr. Klochak, 72, of Sun City, Ariz., formerly of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died April 25, 2007, at home. Before his retirement, he was an employee of Pathmark, East Brunswick. He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Klochak, in 2005. Surviving are two sons, Donald Klochak Jr. of Tennessee and David Klochak of Pennsylvania; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Timothy O'Neill of Matawan; a sister, Rose Bernardo of Bellevernon, Pa.; and five grandchildren. Arrangements were by Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.

Alvin Willis

Mr. Willis, 77, of East Brunswick, died May 2, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Stephanie Hermanski Willis; a son, Alvin Willis Jr. of the Windsor section of Washington Township; and a grandson. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Arrangements were under the direction of Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.

Virginia Rehfuss Larkin

Mrs. Larkin, 95, of Cape Coral, Fla., formerly of South Amboy, died March 31, 2007. Prior to her retirement, she taught Latin, French and Spanish at Jamesburg High School. Her husband, William, died in 1976. Surviving are two daughters, Virginia DaConceicao, and her husband, Albert, and Ruth Furrer Lawrence, and her husband, David, all of Cape Coral; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held at Christ Episcopal Church, South Amboy. Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Presbyterian Church Scholarship Fund, 4544 Coronado Parkway, Cape Coral, FL 33904.

Constance Baczeski

Ms. Baczeski, 59, of South River, died May 4, 2007, in JFK Medical Center, Edison. Her father, Leon A. Baczeski Sr., died in 2004. Surviving are her mother, Helen Baczeski of South River; two brothers, Dr. Leon Baczeski of Southbury, Conn., and Larry Baczeski of Oakland, Calif.; two sisters, Christine Crum of Plainsboro and Celeste Suminsby of Albuquerque, N.M.; eight nieces and nephews; and one great-niece. A Mass is planned for 9 a.m. on May 11 at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville. Marilyn F. Docteroff Hoffman

Mrs. Hoffman, 70, of Monroe, formerly of East Brunswick, died May 5, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are her husband, Theodore Hoffman; a son, Bruce Hoffman, and his wife, Candy, of East Brunswick; a sister, Amy Eisen, and her husband, Peter, of New York City; and two granddaughters. Services were held at Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Interment was in Beth Abraham Cemetery, East Brunswick.

Jean Gerard

Mrs. Gerard, 86, of Cheyenne, Wyo., formerly of East Brunswick, died May 3 in Salt Lake City. Prior to her retirement, she was the children's librarian for many years at the New Brunswick Public Library. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank A. Gerard. Surviving are a son, Steven Gerard of Cheyenne; a daughter, Carole Gerard of Denver; and two brothers, R.E. Holding and Ralph Holding, both of Salt Lake City. Graveside services will be held in Salt Lake City at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Robert E. Powell

Mr. Powell, 79, of East Brunswick, formerly of Staten Island, N.Y., died May 3, 2007, in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. His wife, Anna Marjorie "Marge" Neal Powell, died in 1998. Surviving are three sons, Stephen Powell, and his wife, Debra, of Staten Island, Craig Powell of New York City and R. Scott Powell, and his wife, Teri, of East Brunswick; a daughter, Kimberly Russomano, and her husband, Gerald, of East Brunswick; a brother, Edward Powell of River Edge; and seven grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment was in Oceanview Cemetery, Staten Island.
