Veteran board attorney honored posthumously

      SPOTSWOOD - Generations of school officials, as well as community members and dignitaries, came together recently to honor the late Philip H. Shore. Shore, an attorney who served the Spotswood school system for nearly 40 years, died in March after a battle with cancer. He was 66.

      Above: Zachary Volkmann, 8, walks the balance beam during the second-graders' "Circus Around the World" production May 11 at the Barclay Brook School in Monroe. The students gave two performances as the culmination of an artists-in- residence program. The interdisciplinary curricular experience included physics, math, history, language and geography.
