Cindy Ann Napolitano
Mrs. Napolitano, 49, of Tuckerton, formerly of Milltown, died May 20, 2007, at home. She was predeceased by her stepfather, Carmen Zangara. Surviving are her children, Kimberly Smith, Michael Weiss and Kelly Eskesen, all of Egg Harbor; her mother, Connie Caruso Zangara of Milltown; her father, Donald Napolitano of Port Orange, Fla.; two sisters, Donna Torres of the New Egypt section of Plumsted and Debbie Napolitano of North Brunswick; a brother, Donald Napolitano Jr. of Manahawkin; two grandchildren; a niece; and a nephew. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on May 24 at Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick. A Mass is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 25 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Milltown. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
Amy Beth Schwartzstein
Ms. Schwartzstein, 42, of the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick, formerly of the Somerset section of Franklin, died May 2, 2007, in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was employed as a phlebotomist at Saint Peter's University Hospital for 19 years. Surviving are her father, Harvey of Manalapan; her mother, Geri of Somerset; a brother, Barry of East Brunswick; a niece, Rebecca, and a nephew, Daniel. Services were held at Goldstein Funeral Chapel Inc., Edison. Interment was in Beth El Cemetery, Paramus.
John Coppa
Mr. Coppa, 77, of the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick, died May 18, 2007, in Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Browns Mills section of Pemberton. He was predeceased by his first wife, Palma Mazzeo Coppa, in 1997. Surviving are his wife, Pamela Taylor Coppa; two brothers, Joseph Coppa of North Brunswick and James Coppa of East Brunswick; and several nieces and nephews. Interment was in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.
John J. Falger
Mr. Falger, 85, of the Rossmoor adult community in Monroe, formerly of East Brunswick, died May 17, 2007, in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Marie Jonas Falger; a brother, Karl Falger of Newport, N.C.; a sister, Margaret Bussey of Edison; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation was private. Arrangements were under the direction of Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick. A memorial service will be held at a date to be announced.
Maria Fallick
Mrs. Fallick, 73, of East Brunswick, died May 17, 2007, in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are a daughter, Susan Caruso, and her husband, Rory, of East Brunswick; two sons, Robert Fallick, and his wife, Elizabeth, of East Stroudsburg, Pa., and Mark Fallick, and his wife, Lorraine, of East Brunswick; a sister, Angelina Garavuso of Florida; and six grandchildren. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, N.Y.
Julius Giordano
Mr. Giordano, 80, of Monroe, died May 15, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Anna Pellegrini Giordano; four daughters, Patricia Ries, and her husband, Peter, of Hillside, Julie Galdi, and her husband, Mario, of Wyckoff, Lynn Milano and her husband, Vincent, of Barnegat and Marie Marretta, and her husband, Carmen, of Monroe; a brother, Nicholas Giordano of Little Falls; and nine grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Nativity of Our Lord Church, Monroe. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
Bertha Teretsky Gluck
Mrs. Gluck, 98, of the Somerset section of Franklin, formerly of North Brunswick, died May 20, 2007, in the Jewish Home and Healthcare Center, Somerset. She was the owner and operator of Gluck Shoes, New Brunswick and East Brunswick. Her husband, Joseph Gluck, died in 1979. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Shelly and Ruth Gluck of Boynton Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Brenda Morgan of East Brunswick; a sister, Edith Moses of Jamesburg; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Interment was in Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. Arrangements were under the direction of Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.
Paul M. Kierney
Mr. Kierney, 59, of East Brunswick, died May 10, 2007, at home. His father, Stanley A. Kierney, died in 1967. Surviving are his mother, Mary Kierney of East Brunswick; a brother, Carl Kierney, and his wife, Roberta, of Seattle; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was private.
Theresa B. Midas Lupco
Mrs. Lupco, 79, of East Brunswick, died May 16, 2007, at home. Prior to her retirement in 1986, she was employed as a deli clerk at Foodtown, East Brunswick. Her husband, John M. Lupco, died in 2000, and a son, John T. Lupco, died in 2005. Surviving are three daughters, Carol Genito, and her husband, Raymond, of North Brunswick, Sandra Haremza, and her husband, Alfred, of Eastampton and Susan Micale of Spotswood; a daughter-in-law, Marie Lupco; a brother, Frank Midas of Harrisburg, Pa.; a sister-in-law, Margie Midas of Lansford, Pa.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her caregiver, Gulko Meskhi. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew's Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Ann Bobela Pavlick
Mrs. Pavlick, 86, of Monroe, formerly of East Brunswick, died May 15, 2007, at home. Her husband, Michael "Art" Pavlick, died in 1999, and a daughter, Sharon Stockton, died in 2001. Surviving are two daughters, Anne M. Pavlick and Jane E. Andolsek, and her husband, Ray, all of Monroe; two sons, Richard Pavlick of Columbia, S.C., and Kenneth Pavlick, and his wife, Laura Griffith, of Custer, Wash.; two brothers, George Bobela of Garfield and Joseph Bobela of Emerson; a sister, Helen Hoza of Dalzell, S.C.; and five grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew's Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Adolph "Al" Pepe
Mr. Pepe, 92, of Monroe, formerly of Spotswood, died May 18, 2007, in Cranbury Center, Monroe. His first wife, Katherine Kulish Pepe, died in 1997; a son-in-law, Walter Grabowski, died in 2003; and another son-in-law, Ronald Gonier, died in 1979. Surviving are his wife, Janina Sulc Pepe; two daughters, Carol Gonier-Rollyson, and her husband, James, of Monroe, and Patricia Pepe-Grabowski of South River; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. James the Less Church, Jamesburg. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
Mary Hage Szabo
Mrs. Szabo, 88, of East Brunswick, died May 16, 2007, in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her husband, William Szabo, died in 1991. Surviving are a son, William Sabo, and his wife, Barbara, of East Brunswick; and two grandchildren, William Jr. and Barbara. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment was in Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River.
Patricia M. Wood
Mrs. Wood, 65, of East Brunswick, died May 17, 2007, in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are her husband, Howard Wood; three daughters, Susan Godsey, and her husband, Barry, of Gurnee, Ill., Karen Curtis, and her husband, Brian, of Milltown and Jennifer Fryer, and her husband, Jon, of Rotherham, England; a sister, Sharon Miller, and her husband, Bruce, of Bend, Ore.; and five grandchildren.
