      The Monroe seventh-grade Lady Falcons basketball team fell to the Monroe eighth-grade squad, 40-21, Saturday. Kylie Davidson and Jena Pritzlaff led all scorers with five points apiece, while Samantha Clark (four points), Christina Felice (two points), Jackie Racine (two points) and Keriann Manziano (two points) rounded out the offense.

      The Monroe Township Hoops Scholarship Fund will host its fourth annual Golf Outing at Concordia Golf Course on July 30. Registration will begin at noon, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The awards dinner will follow immediately after at Villa Laura Restaurant in Monroe. The cost of $110 per player includes golf, cart and dinner.
