Thanks go out to many for success of fundraiser
      I would like to thank everyone for coming to my third annual Alex's Lemonade Stand on June 9. I found out there were more than 1,500 stands across the country this year. I'm glad everyone loved my lemon slushies, too. Rob Bogash, owner of the Coffee Beanery in Jersey City, provided the cool slushie cups and got me the slushie mix.

Rail line would be of little or no benefit to county residents
      I'd like to respond to recent letters to the editor in some newspapers advocating the proposed Monmouth-Ocean-Middlesex (MOM) rail line through Middlesex County. Middlesex County Freeholder Director David Crabiel's opposing stance is a good one and stands for the residents' best interests.
