South River rec to hold Aug. 11 Fishing Derby

South River Parks and Recreation will sponsor its annual Fishing Derby from 10 a.m. to noon on Aug. 11 at Bissetts Pond in Grekowski Park, Whitehead Avenue. Registration will begin at 9 a.m.

Borough residents through age 13 are eligible to participate. Prizes will be awarded.

Rain date is Aug. 18.
